We still have time to save some of the tares. They need to hear the Gospel -about how Christ died for our sins on Calvary's Cross, was buried, and rose on the 3rd day according to the Scriptures. How He is alive and He wants ALL people to come to Him, believe His Gospel, turn from their sin, and make Him Lord and Savior of their lives. I believe that God is separating the wheat from the tares now. It's getting late in the last days. I assume, when I hear about Paul saying he "put away childish things", that he is not talking about the same thing Jesus was talking about, when He said to some people, that unless they "become as little children", they "shall in no wise enter the kingdom...". Are they the same, and Paul was disparaging what Jesus said? Paul wouldn't dream of disparaging Jesus, or anything that He said. But I remember that the fictional character, Elmer Gantry, used that verse to insinuate that growing up out of childish ways, he learned to outgrow the God of the Bible because of the phony religious huckstering he had both witnessed and practiced. When he said he had put away childish things, he did mean what Jesus was talking about, and was denying him, and "heroically" walking away into atheism. That he was a scammer with the scammers, he did not bother to mention. But no, when Paul said that, he was in no way denying what Jesus said. So Jesus meant something that shouldn't be outgrown, since He said that the men he was speaking to must become as little children, not the other way around, and that God hides His truth from the wise and prudent and reveals His truth to the babes. Basically saying these things were already bound and losed before you prayed or asked. That didn't seem right so i looked the scriptures up and they were...
