I don't know if the line was ever operated when it became Norfolk Southern, but the closest to any images of the line before Metrolink is a few pictures is a picture of a couple of boxcars under the old Delmar Stations with its escalators still intact. If you have any images or videos of the Wabash line before Metrolink, i'd like to know because it would be a real surprise to railfans all over the area.
Mr Tiroch, I noticed on your account that you have a lot of vidos of trains around Missouri and Illinois from around the late 80s and early 90s. Hopefully you are familiar with the St. Louis Metrolink, because the line it runs used to be the old Wabash Railroad before it was abandoned in the late 80s. It was a subdivision that turned off at Ferguson not far from the old station and ran through Pagedale, Wellston, and U. City before merging with the MoPac and Frisco, where they do now.
I would just record the videos you need to, and then just record your narration in your house by just having it face you. Then just convert the naration video to an mp3 and dub it over the train video
Nice!
i was thinking about some narration, but i know it will be hell. thanks for keeping us reminded! everything takes practice!
brutal
