- This is a video consisting of a compilation of scenes featuring one disturbing villain from my memories, the demonic archnemesis of the Hyper Force, Skeleton King (voiced by Mark Hamill), from the show Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! His sinister plans to destroy the Hyper Force, Shuggazoom, and turn the entire universe into a massive death world made him a terrifying villain to behold along with his considerable planning skills. Hope you enjoy him as a much as I did.

Mark Hamill’s Skeleton King performance is horrifying, He makes the character scary. He doesn’t sound alive, he sounds like he’s voiced by the undead.

This was a great performance by Hamill. SO cold, cruel and sadistic. One of his best roles. Thanks for uploading this video.
Cold, Sadistic, Cruel, did not tolerate failure, even when he failed, he still got a head somehow, like Xanatos, though while not as successful, was a great villain, the only voice roll Hamill does that trumps this one, is the Joker

It was always ironic that the Skeleton King was only a mere pawn and shadow of the Dark One that corrupted the Alchemist even though he was the one and only true antagonist of the series

@@DAsrada yeah, I think so too, but then again Queen Metalia is also very dreadful and fearsome compared to her “Mother” Sailor Chaos But in a Grand Scheme of thing she nothing but a living speck, the one and only person who knows and fear the existence name Chaos is Sailor Cosmo (Basically Christian God of Sailor Moon verse), so yeah gotta give Dark one Worm some credit where it belongs to.
The Villains are always the best parts of this show.

I love how he's drawn like an absolute goofball villain and yet is genuinely terrifying. Utterly remorseless and with a voice that sounds like it came from the grave itself.

@@tigrerojo9685 there's an episode where the skeleton king was revived and the monkey team was planning on recluting all their allies to fight against the revived skeleton king and his forces, and that's where the series end
Technically, we did get an “I am your father” moment, but not directed at Chiro. Skeleton King was the Anakin/Darth Vader to the Monkey Team’s Luke.

The Alchemist was turned into Skeleton King like years before Chiro was even born therefore, Skeleton King, you are not the father!

Yeah, is a shame. On the bright side, most of the crew behind this show go to TF: Animated... which was sadly cancelled very soon.
TheAutobotPower__ True, but at least they gave TF a proper series finale instead of leaving us all on a big cliffhanger. But that's what happens when you have TV executives who are only concerned about Nielsen Ratings and not critical reception or the fans love of the show.
FOX is especially guilty of this.
But this show means so much to me.
Truly a great show with equally great moments of drama and comedy and clever action sequences.

Actually the one who created this show was one of Teen Titans directors before he joined Disney and after this show he joined Nickelodeon to create TMNT 2012.
Mark Hamill is a genius when it comes to giving a villian a voice
Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! had good animation, good storylines and was generally quite innovative but at the same time, it was so unrelentingly unpleasant and frequently very depressing. You could never fully enjoy it.

If the series wasn't prematurely cancelled, he would've been defeated once and for all.

Or maybe they're split from each other but because of that the two become weaker until Skeleton King tries to fuse with them again but when they do the Hyperforce pull a switch, making the Alchemist dominant instead turning them into an ally to them but the skeleton king ready to emerge as they try to defeat the dark one masters only for in the end, The Alchemist let's the Skeelton King who hates having to be their servants, fight them and throw all of them into the Dark One Portal which was then sealed away

Skeleton King went from bootleg skeletor to such an eerie being that the show never fully explains but hints at him being an incomprehensible force of destruction
Plus a bunch of just odd things he does like when they find out he has a room filled with toys and clothes that belonged to the MC
This is never explained or even brought up after that episode which is only weirder when put into context that the MC himself was an enigmatic character on his own whose backstory is never mentioned
Imagine if skeleton king invaded eternia from he man and the Masters of the universe and skeleton king replacing skeletor as the main villain of he man
So basically he's gotten one role as a hero and every other role as a villain

Skeleton King was such a cool and terrifying villian. I like how this show didn't hold back on the darker moments, because there are a lot of very unsetlling moments in the show, especially when Skeleton King is on screen and Mark Hamill did a fantastic voice work for the character.
I will not lie when I say that *This* Is one of the scariest villains out of anything I watch. He's sitting on a throne with Bill cipher. The voice actor did a fantastic job with the skeleton king! I also love the skeleton kings backstory, And I like to see the slow transition of him going from a kind, Humble, Alchemist, Into a feared, Tyrannical ruler in the galaxy.

Probably the most darkest and evilest villain of any kids cartoon show. Such a great villain, after his resurrection I wish the show continued to see him more in action.

Skeleton king is the best incarnation of a pure evil villain.
It exists only to do harm, to spread his malignant influence. Whats more terryfing is that he knows it, and rejoice in it.
He doesn't care if he loses the battle, because even if they win, he already left a mark in them, and that in the great scheme of things, evil is as eternal as good, they wouldn't get rid of him.
He knows his nature, rejoice in it and that makes him truly dangerous.

Funny thing is that Skeleton King and Skeletor are both skeleton based villains that we’ve seen in many media. The Revelation Skeleton and Skeleton King were both voiced by Mark Hamill.
One thing I realized is that Skeleton King said that Shuggazoom was the last stronghold for hope in the universe, meaning he supposedly had already corrupted everywhere else in the universe EXCEPT Shuggazoom, but in season 3 the dark one worm with SK head was travelling through space to corrupt other places and even attempted to attack Earth hmmm....
Team Mystic4life They probably hadn’t thought up the WHOLE story for the series, as this was only it’s second episode. Still, makes you think.
It's possible that the Skeleton King is referring to the fact that Shuggazoom may be the only planet left that has the force neccesary to take him down, which would be the Monkey Team. Or, at the very least, its the only one that would choose to take him down, since any other system would be under SK's control.

Mark Hamill was the same guy played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars and Joker in a few of the old Batman cartoon along with Justice League. Playing as the villains is his thing.
I guess Luke Skywalker finally fell to the Darkside. That or this is his evil clone Lucas Starkiller.

I remember when I saw the scene at 6:32 for the first time, my jaw dropped to the floor. This surprisingly was an interesting show.
As soon as I watched this again on Disney Plus. I never realized that Skeleton King sounded like the Joker. When I watched this back in 2004 or 2005 I never noticed that. Just by watching this series again on Disney Plus I just realized SK sounds like Joker, like Otto sounds like Mr. Crabs, Gibson and that sun raider boy sound like Spongebob, then Chiro sounds like Beast Boy. Mandarin sounds like the Chinese advisor from Mulan.
I was mindblown when I realized all of this.
I'm disappointed that this childhood show of mine was canceled. I wish it was rebooted or brought back to finish the final chapter of defeating the revived Skeleton King.
My fav Characters in this show are: Chiro, Nova, Sparx, Mandarin, Jinmay, Skeleton King, Antari, Gibson and Otto.
This show was my favorite on Jetix. It's a shame it's cancelled I would have paid good money for it to be continued or rebooted. But not rebooted like cartoon network failures that should not be rebooted.

Even the creator of this show said he wants to renewed his show with season 5 or movie to end the series but he can't cause it is belong to Disney.
Also Jetix replaced to Disney XD cause many people upset that Jetix airing things that not belong to Disney and look like more action anime inspired shows .
And now those people felt so stupid about asking Disney to cancel Jetix since Anime didn't use to be that popular around the world until 2010s.

Just a reminder- in the newly announced He Man remake, Mark Hamill, who played Skeleton King, is now playing Skeletor!
There is a scene at the end of season 1 where Chero finds stuff from his childhood at the Skeleton king's fortress. It was never explained, but the only logical theory I can think of is that the alchemist/SK is actually his father.
