Can-am Guy I mean it was tested in the dunes and designed so it can take bumps and jumps a lot smoother but I would not say it was specifically built for the sand. And I do not know much about the commanders I've never had one but the Mavericks are very very good for reliability and just all around good every thing it's hard to beat one. Also for the money the base models are really good.
Temple Slug I am in Tennessee and it depends I love the side by sides no doubt you can do so much with them super comfortable and everything but the good ole atv is always good and super fun.
