Yay, another new Fallout 4 fan coming over after watching the series. I started playing F4 on an Xbox in January of 23 and the first few playthroughs were absolutely unforgetable. Since then I have played it in every conceiveable way, making alliances with every faction. These days I don't play it so much. What should you play next? That's up to you, but I just bought Skyrim and at age 66, I don't have a clue and could use some help. BTW I'm jealous because I can't make videos. Have fun and watch your back!

By the way you ront need conduits to connect generators to some things like water purifiers. Just click attach wire and attach it directly to the other thing you built.
After doing many playthroughs myself, no npc in the game has a hostile reaction if you reveal you're a vault dweller and some NPCs even appreciate the honesty. It was a thing in the earlier games because vault dwellers in the earlier games weren't known for being good people when they got out of the vaults, however there were still some good vault dwellers.
i meannn in this one i tried to make the characters look like me and my husband ... but my god did i get the shock of my life after spending half an hour making the characters look as close as possible xD
Good first time play through! BTW there are Mods available that allows you to keep your spouse alive while playing. Never used it myself but they are available. Not sure how it works with the base game's limitation to one companion at a time. Would it allow you to keep your spouse and Dogmeat? Not sure. However there are other Mods that allow you to have multiple companions so that you could have your spouse, and Dogmeat, and some additional companions. Very helpful in a big fire fight! Fun fact: The Museum of Freedom has a secret area that was originally part of the game but for some reason was closed off in the final game release. Its still accessible with the no clipping PC console code by going into the Museum Lobby and turning left facing one of the paintings on the wall. Inside are some rooms and hallways and a tiny amount of loot. Of course, Sanctuary has a secret underground cellar in one of its houses if you look hard enough. And Red Rocket has a secret location that is revealed by reading the computer terminal there.
that is so cool!!! i was aware of the mod aspect of the game but because of the latest patch a lot of them broke when i started my playthrough. the loading screen mod to make that faster is such a mussttt!! there is still so many secrets to uncover in this game, i feel like i just scraped the surface of it!
Love you barely made any changes to the default character appearances... Lol. I do approve of the wild stats though (THANK YOU for committing to something). Fun Fact: If you make your character black, the baby's name changes to "Deshaun"! 😏
i stream to my audience on twitch and upload the vod to youtube to save the memories of the playthrough. i understand that some don't enjoy watching a stream when it isn't live and it is a consistent balance that i try to maintain so that both platforms can enjoy my content. in the opening cutscene i did have subtitles that weren't showing and that did distract me in that moment, i do aim to be present for the cutscenes and it is something that i continue working on.
see this is why I hate when people stream the game instead of just playing it and recording it. You were busy talking to your streamers and missed some pretty important things....like oh I don't know the friggin nuclear explosion. You are probably pretty awesome (from what I saw of your personality I would say definitely awesome)but the whole thing is ruined when streamers are too busy talking to the chat instead of paying attention to the game so good luck hope this does amazing for you and I will give it a like on my way out the door.

Streaming the game brings me the most joy from the social interaction, and also as a first playthrough experience, i can follow paths that are likely to be missed the first run around. The opening cutscene I was distracted as the subtitles were not on strangely and where possible I do ensure to have those on so everyone can enjoy the cutscene. Agree. Bethesda games are personal journeys and having a backpack of gremlins is the opposie of that.
