Am not an outdoorsman, but it's obvious that the energy efficiency and ease of maintenance for an inside fire is so much higher than for an outside one - there's just no comparison. Have wondered why there isn't more research into the design of these systems and why they aren't more popular. Is it safety considerations?

Ну это очень даже-издалека напоминает не снежную бурю,а просто- выпадение крупного снега! Вы снежных бурь ещё не видели,а я их помню с далёкого детства,в 70-х годах,в казахстанском селе! Оттуда и пошел праздник,толи- поминовение усопших.Беш Кунак! Байка оттуда идёт,и суть байки- такова... Решили 5 человек поехать в начале весны- в гости к родственникам,в соседний аул. Запрягли коней,поехали.Начался неожиданно буран( он же- метель,он же- пурга)! Кони устали бежать,снегу сразу выпало много,тяжело коням было. Еле кони- брели,перебирая снег,проваливаясь копытами в него. В итоге,гости сами не поняли куда направлять лошадей, заблудились,в итоге- замёрзли в степи! Оттуда и день поклонения покойным,именно в определенный день весны у казахов. Откуда я знаю об этом? Родом я с Казахстана!Никто не заметил что поутру к палатке были- припорошенные следы( припорошенность можно искусственно создать!) человеческих ног! Что при выходе из палатки поутру- типо припорошенные следов нет? Да и кто в такую рань- снимал его,при выходе из палатке,если такая техника на морозе- теряет зарядку устройства! Плюс- ещё! Когда открывал замок палатки,и поднял край то сразу было видео- присыпанно,но- не наметено бурей,пургой,бураном!!! Учитесь снимать более-менее правдоподобно! Зимой,в мороз даже в саманном доме приходиться всю ночь подкладывать дрова,спать в тёплых вещах,и жарко- не будет! бурей,пургой

It maybe difficult to get cold weather clothing where you live. Here in Canada it’s not a problem of course. We would say that is mild weather and really unpleasant as the snow stays in the tree branches and covers your clothes as you walk through the forest making everything wet. I would imagine you learn to bring extra gloves or better still mittens on your next trip.
Cuacanya ekstrim banget ....hujan salju yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan suhu tubuh. Ini benar2 camping yang nekad. Butuh keberanian...Butuh persiapan yang matang.
I understand that we should not set our tent close to potential falling trees, but is it good to set tent closer to some smaller trees to protect the tent from wind, rain and snow?
It depends on what type of stove you are using. This was a small stove, but it was warm. It would have been even warmer with a bigger stove. The tent is great, but i prefer a tent with the stove in the middle.
@@MatthiasOutdoors I received this tent & camped with it at -1c it was 25c in the tent, plenty warm enough I was surprised how much heat these stoves kick out
С таким рюкзаком далеко не уйдешь,такую тяжесть тащить на себе! Охренеть-керосиновую лампу с собой в лес брать! Никогда такого не видел! Да еще тяжелую печь-щепотницу...Зачем она,если все тоже самое можно сделать на обычном костре? Это только вот так специально дотащить тяжеленный рюкзак до точки и сделать съемку. Да и не такая уж там и буря,просто идет обильный снег...А в бурю с таким рюкзаком не сделаешь и нескольких шагов-центр тяжести высоко и парусность большая,сдует! Не,это не наш метод-наши таежники делают экран из веток от ветра и разжигают на ночь нодью из двух бревен-все можно взять на месте,а не тащить с собой. Как стационарная палатка для пикника выходного дня-все это показанное сойдет.
I have a niece that when I visit I keep my winter coat on she has her windows wide open and sits in front of them; she only wears thin sports bra and a thin tank top even if she has to walk in snowstorm that's all she wears she don't wear a coat- she makes me cold just being there LOL, she only has heat on for her son and her bedroom she has air conditioner that she runs year round and in winter she had windows open her door closed so cold air stays there and she don't cover up she don't like blankets

Yes that's right. However, there were always large trees in the area, so I had to position myself on the free spot.
