To do the open space around the stairs they have to be attached directly to the floor, not one tile off. Then the fence across the top of the stairs will disappear so they can use the staircase!

The Sims 4 but google chooses the room size.
use the randomizer and put the numbers between 1 and 64(?) but you have to roll twice for every room. Say if google rolls a 8 and 4, the room size will be 8x4

This video is so relatable. I stick to making smaller homes because it becomes too difficult to find items that fit with the aesthetic. And I absolutely HATE modern houses because they lack the charm and personality of older homes. Modern houses are soulless barren wastelands of excessive wealth.
Werewolves prompted me to make an abbadoned business that had been converted to a home. And while it absolutely drives my OCD crazy to be constantly injecting bits of beaten up furniture every where, it is a really good looking lot for what it's supposed to be. And there is wall to wall clutter. As a result, the lot oozes character and is really fun for the game world.
But kudos to you for sticking with this. I absolutely could not do this challenge.

This is a really pretty build! My ADHD doesn't let me focus for long, so I really liked that you showed half of the build in "real time" and then jumped to the end all furnished for the tour. It helped keep me focused :) Also, I really love your awesome personality, I immediately gave you a follow.

Cool!!!! I'm gonna try it. On my way back home from Tennessee, so I'll have to wait till then. I'm excited about the challenge though.

For the stairs/railing issue - remove ALL of flooring/foundations on the 2nd floor, remove the ceiling on the 1st floor. if you dont know how to delete the ceiling on the first floor, select the room and click on the yellow edge, it should say remove ceiling. then, put the stairs where you want it. then on the 2nd floor, build the floors on the 2nd level around the landing of the ladder. =)

I've only recently seen this video. But I've made a modern house build and now I'm in the process of making a "entertainment center" including bowling and a cinema, with this shell.

You have to build the fence across the top of the stairs where it ends. I can’t explain it well. Then build the fence around the foundation where you want.

Hm modern houses…I’m not a fan!
I love more cozy houses with a little bit of a character! All modern houses look almost the same!

A bit of insight from a furry; humans have been creating anthropomorphic animals for centuries, so furries are like the modern day version of that. Some day in the future we’ll probably have like cyborg tails and ears or something lol.
