Hey, Bryan, the Crew on the Channel and I are glad you have joined us. In the locks, I am sooo glad I had my mast shipped by truck. A 60-foot mast on a 42 sailboat would have been a bad combo in winds that got me sideways. Consider biting the bullet and paying to ship - it was a load off my mind and worth the $1800. Ouch, yes, but a fraction of a bent mast. Good luck!
Man that was good to watch, looks like a place I would love to see in person.my dad was a boatbuilder and so I’m I so I would feel right I’m at home there. The people must be great there and that hamburger must have been amazing.wish you had some more protection like a hardtop with some eyesnglass across the front.I bought a mk1 42 about 3 years ago but it was on the hard and now is on a big trailer in my back yard.So I’m enjoying you sail yours all over the place, man keep sharing and we ‘ll keep watching 🙏👍👍
Just found your channel, and I'm absolutely thrilled you have footage of single-handing through locks!! I'll be watching all those first, as I have to get myself from Kentucky to the Gulf on the Ohio and Tenn-Tom in two years, and I've been pretty worried about doing it alone.
Hi! I’m a native and I’ll tell you about the rocky beach in a few months we’ll get another wind from the other direction and it will be a beautiful beach again. Thanks for visiting our Island.
Hah! Well, I appreciate your compliment - as always - and maintain that your kind support has much more to do with you than me, Danette. You rock - thanks again and again
Hey, Mark - sorry to hear that you aren't getting in all the sailing you want, but that boat you have is soooooo capable. A simple sailor that can move quickly in winds near 20. I hope all the planets align soon and you get the delicious burger that's waiting for you.
Awesome - so glad the little glitches didn't hurt too badly. A software update and communication with TH-cam turned me a bit orange. Maybe an improvement 😊
Awesome!!! Coming back this way! I bet you have some stories - I'll check-in with you to see how you have avoided the wind down here making you are atop one of your mountains in Maine!😅
Well, Jennifer - that place is going nowhere before you get there . . . Or after you get there . . . Nope . . . You can confidently plan for whenever the time is right and know that sense of joyous solitude will be there for you. Cheers to that day my friend.
fantastic....i'm living vicariously through your trip. Since we met in Port Dalhousie, I've followed you south until I crashed and burned going the outside route down Cape Hatteras and the graveyard of the Atlantic. After 4 months in a shipyard in Beaufort, I'm so excited to get going again and you've once again led the way for me. Man of War is now definitely on my list for this season. Thank You. Have you picked a place to hang out for hurricane season? Phil @Cambio
Hey, the Le Chenaux islands are on my list and the subject of a future video - no doubt. One consideration - bugs . . . None in the Bahamas . . . But the U.P. - I'll need to make sure to take my screens. Thank you soooo much for hopping aboard.
Hah! The boating life is quite the journey of self improvement . . . But there sure have been a few boating le$$ons I would have liked to avoid. 😅 Thanks for taking an interest in me getting schooled, occasionally.
Holy moly, Phil - a close call at Hatteras! Dang! My Stir Crazy email is on the webpage - send me a note if you want to provide more details. I'm shaking in my sailing shoes over that. Hurricane season - contemplating a place north and away from hurricanes to sail for the summer. I also need a place where i can more-easily stay fit and get off the boat for exercise. I need to bike, hike and climb hills.
Another good one Dennis Can you take the fall off the trailer in your intro out pls, I can feel the pain on my leg every time I watch it 😂 Derek SV Sandii
Hey, Derek! People ask me for that - and they laugh. TH-cam still hasn't quite connected the same way with the data from my new camera as my old one - so . . . I appear more . . . Orange . . . So, if I am to balance out the entire color spectrum, I have to show more black and blue! Heh-heh 😅
Love this

What an amazing landscape, beachscape and seascape you have - nothing like it. You live in a beautiful place filled with kind people.
Hey Brian! They get a lot of coin for those bags. You hang out in some cool places, Bud. Great hearing from you. Passing Green Turtle Cay right now.
How gorgeous! I love watching your videos.

Cool place - nice folks. Thanks for hopping aboard.
I have a canvas “diddy” bag from the Albury sail shop when we came over from Elbow Cay.

So cool Dennis. Happy to see you enjoying the beauty of the Bahamas.
Hey, Anne - thank you for joining me on your side of the screen - you are a good listener 😊
Enjoying your videos Dennis! We'll be where you are in a few weeks. Currently at O'Brien Cay in the Exumas.

Man of War is also the name of jellyfish
Now that you mention it, Matt - I do recall hearing about the jellyfish. Odd name, eh?
