Omg I can’t not stand how friggin ADORABLE those babies are! I’m not goat lover, or really farm animal lover. But those babies are PRECIOUS!!!! *** It cracks me up how similar they are to human babies first learning how to walk! Wobbly and falling over.

Oh my goodness! What a bunch of cuties! Juliette did so well. FF with 3 of the 4 coming out a little wonky... And after midnight. Sometimes they just don't make it easy for us! Lol. Congrats!

Oh ouch she’s sore, she tore a bit on the second one. I hope she doesn’t have any infection. Do you guys call a vet after a tear or are you able to treat the doe yourselves?
It sure looks like it was torn but that area above where the baby came out was her butt hole. I can see where you would think that though. If we would get a torn area she would go to the vet as soon as we could get her there. Thanks for watching and commenting. Oh and before we had goats and had some kids I would have probably thought the same thing!

Thanks for sharing! I am in North Central Arkansas, hubby and I are interested in more info on your availability for does/kids. We have a small heard of dexter cows and before we moved here we had a brown Swiss milk cow. With having a growing family we think mini nigerian goats would be a great addition. Hi, and thank you for the nice compliment. We’ve had a few health issues and have unfortunately had to sell our herd. 3 of our adult does, Myah, Fancy & Kandi and two doelings went to a lady 45 minutes from us. She also got Apollo and a wether from us. Apollo is out of Flat Rock stock. Her name is Sandee Campbell and her FB page is Rokansaw Dairy Goats. She's a very nice person that can help you out. Do they not jave the babies alone and clean them up what happens when you wipe them off does that not interfere with some type of bonding process
Thanks for the question. Absolutely the mother should/will clean the babies when they deliver alone. I like to assist, especially when they have multiples, and it has never interfered with the bonding process. Actually I think it helps the babies bond to me as well and they are very people friendly. Like bottle babies. 🥰

I know but she did great. Especially for a first timer. And all babies are doing well! 😊
Your doing great but when the leg came out to the shoulder you should have moved to pull the rest of the baby's at that moment because there's always the chance a hoof kicking from any of the baby's could sever any of the goats still inside and by waiting 40 minutes those babies would have drowned.
Thank you for the advice but You need to rewatch the video. I did not wait 40 minutes on the kid who had presented to its shoulder. I immediately went inside to get my husband to help hold Juliett so I could pull the kid. Normal time between kids is up to 30 minutes and I gave Juliett a few extra minutes before retrieving her 3rd kid. Thanks for watching.

Depends on quality of goat. Anywhere from pint a day to 1/2 gallon. Ask about kid's dam and buck from owner about milk quantity before buying kid. Buy registered. It can vary a lot.
