I felt bad for her as well . I have had 3 children and since then I emphasize with any female animal or human. Because labor was the worst pain I have ever experienced. I always feel bad for a animal because they do it completely natural and some are on the floor

It's amazing how our pets come to us for support. My cat wouldn't leave my side when she was in labor. I sat in the closet with her while she birthed her kittens. If I hadn't, she would've had them wherever I was because she just followed me, begging me to sit with her. It's amazing how much they love and trust us ❤️
My cat did that, too. She was constantly pestering me to rub her belly, and when I started to doze off (she went into labor in the middle of the night) she bit me on the nose! She decided that if she wasn't going to sleep, I wasn't going to sleep.

@@k_dee9168 No, but animals in zoos and aquariums often bond with their caretakers the same way pets bond with their owners. I really don't think she meant that otters were pets, just that Otsuyu trusted her caretaker to the point that she wanted her nearby during a time that was very stressful and frightening.

Me too! It broke my heart for her. I have had natural childbirth without the epidural and one with. So I know the difference! She definitely deserved the epidural with her pain level.

..как жалится и просит о помощи..моя золотая девочка....это же так больно..осталось немножко.. и будет легче..да такие звуки произносит..что сердце у нас ..прямо разрывается..мамочка рядом гладит животик..вы её потом простерелизуйте..чтобы она не рожала и не мучилась..раз так ей тяжело боли переносить...ну вот и малыш родился ! Никогда бы не подумала, что они так же тяжело рожают. У меня была мелкая, приблудившаяся собака, узнали, что родила уже по опавшему животу. Ни звука не слышали, ни писка, ни какого-либо движения., Полезли в её место, а там два очаровательных ребенка.

I’m not looking to start any kind of an argument here but your statement is just a flat out lie. I’d rather it wasn’t and we could agree but unfortunately, there are more than enough bad mothers out there. What makes it worse? Humans. Humans have 100% of the power to be the largest group of amazing mothers, yet they are some of the most despicable mothers on this planet. And that is crushing.
The miracle of life is always awe inspiring. The beautiful bond between Mama otter and her human is strong, and that gave her some comfort during this difficult time. Her motherly instincts took over and she immediately cared for her offspring, even though she must have been exhausted. Such a sweet and tender moment to witness as baby latched onto Mama Otter, and the circle of life began once again. Thank you for sharing this with us. Health and long life to Mama and baby boy!

She's such a resilient little lady, and now an experienced mum 💕 and yes, I'm sure the boy will be handsome like his dad! Oage's genes are strong. @@Soufriere84 I wholeheartedly agree, Oage needs to co-parent this time. When Latte had her daughter with Dolce he was an immature father as noted by the owners, but he grew up and became a fantastic dad to Mocha. The three are a very close and loving otter family and both of Mocha's parents discipline her when warranted. I am praying that this will happen for Otsuyu, Oage and their pup AND that in the process their twin daughters will grow closer to their dad and they will be able to participate in their little brother's life. Oage definitely needs to co-parent this time; it may take time, but it needs to happen - his son needs to learn from dad too. 💕💕💕
@@Soufriere84 Absolutely! Odashi should probably not even be able to get near this baby until it can fend for itself. Her dislike for Otsuyu, and her own desire to have a baby, may cause her to kidnap again! Lol, sort of. There’s some truth in there, right? No, I would like to see Oage brought into the picture ASAP, so he can start learning how to be a father, and co-parenting partner right away. Odashi was not about to allow that to happen when the twins were born, and look how well that all worked out! Otsuyu and Oage have a second chance now, without Odashi in the mix, but I hope Loutre’s bring him in sooner rather than later.

I feel like I’ve just gone back in time 12 months, only this time there is only one baby….and isn’t he just the cutest little boy! 🥰🥰 Otsuyu did so well, and I hope the full time of the birth was shorter than last time. My heart went out to her with every contraction..❤️. She is a champion Mum now and has got all the necessary skills down to a fine art.
