He has RT leg atrophy for a long .is it reversible after so long?
No Shishir.. his whole musculoskeletal unit along with nerves have not grown properly.. he may get better muscle bulk but getting equal to the other side may not happen.. its also because his opposite leg muscles have over developed because of constant over loading for last 30 years

It was a neglected childhood septic arthritis Sequelae .. in these cases tissues are not as pliable as a surgeon would like.. so slight high hip centre is a good option for these patients. It also helps with the reduction .. having said that correcting the limb length fully sometimes leads to sciatic nerve palsy in these patients which is a bad complication to have ..
I am sure you would agree that there are more than one way to skin a cat - so you could have planned it the way you have described
