I feel bad about picking nautilus with my duo que and making the game unplayable for the enemy botlane but it’s not really my fault riot made support turbo broken for anyone with two brain cells. It feels so weird going from mid and top where you have to actively try to win by managing waves, farming well, pinging roams, and reacting to ganks, while if you play a engage support it literally boils down to “if I hook do we one shot? Yes, time to hook and one shot them” It really is like a little brain off paradise in the horrible hell scape of league of legends

If I were to guess why Morg is bad in high elo (as a Sup Player) she is simply two slow and niche in utility. Hard stopping CC on one champion is really powerful but the shield is: Only Blocking AP damage, Does not last very long, and has a LONG cd. She has no engage, her Q while Large and Hard in Utility (3 cd becomes days) and her Ultimate is very bad. Her Ult forces her (a Caster) to run towards enemies, and forces her to build stopwatch on a role that earns very little money. Which might not even be worth the effort since most meta adc have mobility, and most high elo players know when to flash. Doesn't mean she cant be good, she decimates hard engage supports early like Leona and Nautilus but late game? She can't exactly shield everyone from a 5 man Leona Ult.
Also her passive has little to no use in the Support role, she really doesn't need healing when she can play so far back in lane.
That’s because Morgana wasn’t designed with her being support in mind, she works much better in mid if you know how to play the matchups, but even then she’s mostly picked as a niche counterpick most of the time

TO BE FAIR, Jax is more of a hybrid champ. Most of the time he's going to be sidelane, and Morg still does damage but not enough where they'd feel pressured to build magic resist vs you and Karthus where a support like Brand or Xerath would justify stacking some MR

How can you call someone with a 3 second root, complete CC denial, and a multiple stun R useless lmfao. A good Morgana with Zhonya can be a absolute prick to play against. Outside of maybe 3 champs in the game shes the absolute best there is at keeping carry’s alive in team fights, starting engagements at the support position and starting CC chains. If morgana had a heal of any kind she’d break the support position.
