There used to be The Groovy Show that came on right after high school got out for all the SoCal teeny boppers. It was filmed at Santa Monica Beach, aired just locally, and you could go go there and participate in the dancing and hear the groovy bands.I bicycled from my folks home in Redondo a few times and watched the happening from the pier.....good times!
