The season ending early actually explains alot of things in the server that we should have expected. The 1.18 update creates drastic changes to world generation, which is why Xisuma made the hard decision to call the season short although 6 months is only about 30% of a normal season’s duration. All the hermits were given a month’s notice, and that is when the Moon lore started. All the conflicts that should’ve happened couldn’t happen, like the Boatem vs. Big Eye Crew war. Grian really intended to build a messenging system to Mumbo as he’s always planned every season, but he had to cancel it without telling us the reason that we now know today: he won’t have time to make a fully functional system. I do believe he would’ve finished the bank’s interior and back too, but the same reason cut him short. Overall, I think when Xisuma created the Season 8 server, he really wanted the 1.18 update, but Mojang only released the smaller half of it which is 1.17. He probably knew this season wouldn’t last long. Anyway I can’t wait for the wonders of Season 9, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🎉 🎊!
That was beautiful. It’s definitely hard to start a new season knowing that it will be short-lived. They definitely made the best out of that situation!
Honestly season 8 is probably my favourite, I just love all the chaos especially with the big moon stuff thingys that was happing. (I’ve been awake for 48 hours, sorry if my English isn’t the best, but I am going to sleep now listening to my favourite season)
💡 IDEA: Remember when the village and pillage update came out, and all the hermits went and lived in a village together? When Caves and Cliffs part two comes out, the hermits should find a massive cave and all build in it together.

I’ve heard good things about hermit craft, and I got into mcyts again. So I did what any normal person would do and go with the familiar people to me (Mumbo and grian) and ofc I loved the video! New series to binge!!
The thing about grians hermit craft videos is they're always so simple no loud music in the background, no excessive yelling or raising of voice, and its just very chill videos.
I'm watching this video now months into the season and the nostalgia is hitting hard. I'm still laughing my pants off at the creation of the Boatem Pole and the Boatem Village 😂. What a fun season it's been.

I got to know Hermicraft at the end of season 7, and season 8 is truly such a magnificent and nostalgic one for me. I cannot believe how much of a big part the hermits have been in my childhood. Season 10 has started now and for whatever reason, this is the 4th time I'm watching this. Thank you Hermits ♥️
@@BlackArche0ps Mumbo placed down the crafting table, then they all placed down more stuff on top, especially boats, and became the boatem pole. That created the alliance in the episodes to come and impacted the server drastically.
Im sad that this season ended already, maybe it would've been fun if they went to a new planet and then revisited earth when 1.18 update is out just an idea
