I have a great system for the event. During the day I spend too much time on it micromanaging it. At night, Tim, the homeless guy outside of my apartment plays the event and raids my fridge. Morning I wake up and tag team with Tim the homeless guy who prefers to sleep under the pine tree out back. Teamwork!

To use a live event mini game during summer break time just shows you the ignorance of Inno. Now would have been the best time for the stupid candy crash game like in the Wildlife event
I don't know if people made the same mistake as me, maybe im just dumb, but I kinda expected to go to town 1 after the first town, but you go first town, 2, 3 then 1,2,3 ... 1,2,3. Just in case people made the same mistake and are very confused right now xD
So I have one question. From what I understand from the strategy you'll be left with about 4400 extra gemstones after 11 towns. You can spend these extra gemstones on end-of-town boxes to get either Heroes tavern upgrade kits or summer hold manor upgrade kits. What is the best option here? 1. Buy all the boxes for the discounted price of 1400 (you can do this 3x) 2. Buy individual boxes until you get your desired price/upgrade kit (gemstones spend is variable) Sometimes you get lucky and get it in 1 box or sometimes you have to spend a lot of gemstones before the right upgrade kit pops up. I'm really left wondering what my best option is here. Perhaps it also depends on what prices you get from the free box from the 11 town to choose either option. If anyone has suggestions, they're welcome :)
Buy individually. Until you end up buying that final, sixth box, you would be paying much less (850) gemstones instead of the 1400. It is a more chance-y option, but buying the 1400 option would only let you open 3 sets of boxes instead of the increased number you could potentially do by buying boxes individually.

That Trailside Smithy is out of my reach I would need to spend quite a few bucks to get it, I may be able to squeak into Silver, I keep getting in about halfway to gold then fall just out of silver, then back in. I may have to spend all my Diamonds to secure a silver spot, great video.
Just my own view on the event regarding the three level pass if you purchased Gold you automatically unlocked silver prize line it is well worth the gold pass if you are a big spender for instance in the previous fellowship event I got 6 taverns so for me it would have been absolutely worth it to play the Gold prize line, however when this event got to live I got dumped into the B group I was literally foaming by the mouth, to give people an idea if you have the three tier pass or fell in the Group A by the time the Group B got 1 legendary lodge upgrade for their Hero's tavern the Gold pass or Group A team got three legendary lodge upgrades. I have 5 + Taverns so I guess that's why I qualified for the Group B study :-(. Personally I feel ripped off because if you were a big spender the Gold pass would have been the best bang for your buck. Now regarding the Trail side Smitty is it really value for money no not really 75 days for full building 38 if you strike it lucky with BG every day. The Summer event was better there was a hack to getting lots of Cartographers but this got nerfed after day 2 or three of the event I managed to get 46 currently 27 planted Once I have the space I will plant the rest leave it to generate many more Buccaneers, I worked it out to about 500 diamonds per Cartographer so far I have generated three new Buccaneers and two Tower of Conjunction that is much Quicker than this TRailside Smithy Nerf initially it generated 90 frags but free players cried the Nerf is repeated with the football event and the Bougainville tree.
You need a lot more Keymaster Workshops in order to equal a Trailside Smithy. They only produce 2 fragements, as opposed to the 3 that the Cartographer's House does and you need 1 extra level for the building it produces, so 150 extra fragments required 6,67 Cartographer's Houses equals 1 Trailside Smithy in progress towards their respective building.
i hate and love this kind of event at the same time..i managed to get 2 level 9+1 sumerholds in 2 worlds (probably because i am far into the gold league) but it was painfully bad, i had to bevery active daily and no to minimun f ups are allowed
Amazing video, thank you! Looks like this is going to be a really time consuming event, which is kind of stupid in summer break when people are traveling ,and Inno Games is starting to really push it too far with the pay to win options for my taste.
If you want to finish 10x towns, then you must not open all chest after finishing a town, right? Just only the free one.. And, when do you skip the town? How many task you have to play each town?
If you finish 10 towns, you've got about 4500 gemstones remaining, so spend them however you wish (on boxes, on extra towns, etc). Just keep track of how many you've spent so you don't overspend! And save enough so that you can buy overseers for the next one :) You can skip the first town whenever you want; it doesn't matter too much. For each town, it's: Town 1: 33 tasks Town 2: 32 tasks Town 3: 32 tasks
In that case what about just the 495 in diamonds? I will only use them if I'm sure it will net me a good result. But at the same time as bad as I want a second sun palace it would really only affect me on the def boosts
If you want a second Sunhaven, you'd probably already have to have been spending diamonds throughout the event. How many tasks/towns have you completed so far?

Thanks a lot for this! I'm just a bit confused, I'm getting both goldens at 325, however, I only get my manor to level 6 (so I can't upgrade to the golden one yet) with the rewards (+ a lvl 1 manor I got). Where do I get the remaining 3, except for in the boxes or if I end up being in bronze?

Opening all 6 is very expensive in terms of gemstones, so you want to avoid doing that if possible.
I was able to get 2 Sunhaven Palaces for free! I don't know how I did that, I was going after Tavern upgrade, but ended up having my second summerhold building upgraded to sunhaven palace

If it says run 3, it's run 3. The spreadsheet is supposed to go: - First town OR town 1 - Town 2 - Town 3 - Town 1, (repeat) I probably should have explained that better, and have made a note to do so for the next spreadsheet for this type of event.

First town = town 1, but you can end it by paying only 1M feast provisions. No need to spend over a day working on it when you can complete it early. Then you go on to town 2
Apparently they decided to continue testing two passes on live servers, so some players got one extra track of prizes, and others got both. I'd guess that you got placed in the former group.

So, basically when you're opening boxes at the end of towns, you want to either skip the boxes if you don't see the prize you want, or only open as many boxes as it takes to get that prize and then move on to the next town. When you're going for a Tavern, you only open boxes until you get the tavern kits and then move on, etc. If you try to go for both, ie open boxes until you get both kits, you'll probably run out of gems. Either way though, it's very lucky dependant.
If you're using my spreadsheet, when you start a new town, match the first three quests with the ones in the "your current quests" box, trying each town variant to see which matches. If you're on the browser version, FoE helper can tell you, but if you don't use the extension or are on mobile, there aren't as many options
Worst Event Building ever! No population, no coins and almost no forge points until the highest levels and even then . . . not many. And this comes along with the most tedious mini game mechanic they have. I hate this min game!
The Sunhaven Palace provides nearly 20 FP/day in SAT, 16 in IA. That's a pretty good number for a 4x4 building, not even including the goods, fragments of the feast and fables kits, etc

Unfortunately they decided to keep the two event passes in an A/B test, so some players will get two, and others only will get one.

You can, and yeah, you won't get the second golden upgrade row free unless you place in silver.

I would spend diamonds elsewhere. You could just get an extra Summerhold Manor, it's not a bad building

Seems I can't find those event passes on my PC. I got "Grand prizes" with extra ones, but I can't find silver and gold ones? Any ideas, help?

That minigame is the worst we had so far so seeing it return is another massive disappointment
