@@farjanaakter6255bro bangladesh🇧🇩 is a new country but in past Bangladesh was a province of India 🇮🇳but in 1905 the Britishers divided Bangladesh into two province . But after Independence ( 1947) India 🇮🇳was divided into two countries Pakistan and India. Pakistan got Bangladesh which was known as east Pakistan but pakistani people and their army started to discriminate and torture Bangladeshi people so they started to migrate in India🇮🇳 so our Indian government decided to help Bangladesh we fought for these ungrateful people we faced many problems for their independence . After the war of 1971 Bangladesh was born . So Bangladeshi cuisine is a mix of West / north Indian cuisine with a touch of middle Eastern cuisine with our Indian Bengali food. Yes tikka masala was invented by an Indian who used to live in a province of India which was Bengal but not Bangladesh😂😂
The reason most Indian cuisine gets a lot of recognition, well I’m speaking for Britain, is because of all the restaurants across the country which are actually Bangladeshi. And the reason for that is when the Bangladeshi people started coming abroad and establishing in the culinary business at that time the whole country including Pakistan was known as India, then later came Pakistan then later came Bangladesh and I am speaking about independence. And the reason almost 95% of the Bangladeshi restaurants are called Indian was because for those time if they named them Bangladeshi the British people didn’t recognise it so they wouldn’t have known what these restaurants are and what type of food they make. So naming them Indian allowed them to bring western customers. But don’t get it mistaken they’re actually Bangladeshi. So next time you’re in London or somehwere on Britain and you go into an Indian restaurant known that you’re actually in a Bangladeshi restaurant

Hello there, here in Portugal ( AZORES) we have a traditional dish that looks like that in the clay... the diference is some of the ingredients, and our pot is half open , but instead of we use it iside a wood oven to get extra flavour.. its called " Alcatra Regional". Created in Terceira Island, used in other island too.
There is a word in Bengali called Alcatra, it a noun for "coal/tar" or "pitch" tar. Like the kind of tar used for paving pitched roads. Im am willing to bet both words Etymology would point Arabic to being the source and both possibly derived from a common meaning in Arabic. Does Alcatra have any meaning in Portugese or is purely a noun for a region or regional dish?

Yup u r right😭
Soooo true
Please develop your knowledge. What you’re saying is one of the certainty of its origin. There are many origin stories of Chicken Tikka Masala. The origin of the dish is not certain.
What? I am knowning this now that tikka is Bangladeshi cuisine
For me, Bangladeshi authentic foods 😋 are the best with its unique ingredients and spices and unique style of cooking ❤❤❤❤
Honestly, I didn't see any rat while making Bangladeshi food so yeah they won.
Damn🤣🤣
You didn't just say that 😂😂

I'm a Bangladeshi, and I just love Pangas fish, Ilish Fish, Shrimp ,,,, Panta Ilish is our traditional food item, the new year of Bangla calendar called ''Pohela Boishak'' is incomplete without it,,, Although that beef item isn't more popular here,,, in Bangladesh mutton kacchi biriyani is more popular.. However Pangas is very controversial fish in Bangladesh,,, Many people love this fish as well many people hated this fish a lot,,,
Beef items are also so much popular, But I think you are not Muslim and you have not tried it that's why you are saying that. I don't wanna hurt your feelings, but its true that beef is an integral part of Bangladeshi (Not West Bengal) cuisine. You can't disagree that !!
but ya its true that Mutton is more popular than beef across the whole sub-continent.
