I’m honestly kind of disappointed in the way some are bashing this performance as it is no good. And it’s the wrong version to react to. Everyone in here has a different opinion on what a good performance is of any song. Why is it always the wrong song? Wrong performance? All of her performances are stellar in our opinion. It’s honestly frustrating. We go off of how many times something gets recommended, or how often it gets liked in the comment section. These performances are opinion based. So let’s not get to critical of what we choose. We’ve yet to hear a bad performance🤷♂️
I think a lot of us have high standards when it comes to Beyoncé because the more seasoned Beyhive members have experienced her at her best. And because she herself holds herself to high standards. And we want the people getting to know her discography to experience the best possible versions of it. It could be the difference between what makes or breaks a song.
You don't have to make a reaction video to it, but to prove my point... Search for 1+1 backstage at American Idol or 1+1 Live at Roseland. You'll see what I'm talking about. This Glastonbury one was just okay by Beyoncé's own standards for Beyoncé.

(The funny thing is, she actually did better during the rehearsal than the actual live performance. And that's my point. Some of the people who recommend things for you guys don't know what they're talking about. You can go watch the performance that was tapped for the live American Idol show and see the difference in talking about).

I understand that people have different tastes. And I'm not necessarily begrudging some of the other Beyhive members recommendations. As big of a Beyoncé fan as I am (AND I'm almost obsessive because I'm an aspiring singer and she's one of my main muses) _I_ don't even like all her music. But I know which performances of her songs are the best. Even of the stuff I don't like. Because somehow when she sings it live, even the songs I don't care for, I still end up enjoying it because she's always doing something interesting and her vocals, even on a bad day like this Glastonbury performance of 1+1, are still better than most artists on their GOOD days.
I will always hold the opinion that some Beyoncé songs really don't need reacting to... Or at the very least a hierarchy needs to be established by someone who is well versed in Beyoncé for which ones get reacted to first.
Or maybe if you guys put it in the comments which ones you're thinking about reacting to next and the comment with the most likes wins. Idk...

Don’t get frustrated, it’s just opinions from people who saw a lot of covers and we just say that this wasn’t their best performance, because it was, she was uncomfortable in the middle of the song, she was in the first performances, I know that even what she does regularly is very good, because of the level she has. It’s the same with Drunk In Love, at the Grammys it’s his first time singing it and it’s not his best performance of that song.
As I was one of those who said it wasn’t their best version of the song, I want to clarify that it was nothing against you, I love your genuine reactions, nothing more than one knowing that there are better versions we say it, But more than anything, just so you know she does it better. And I know you guys grab a video and clearly you can’t know what the best version is. Clearly this presentation is good, it’s just not the best, mostly because in that era I was singing new songs and 1+1 was one of those new songs.
And I repeat that it is nothing against you two, always in the reaction videos in the comments you find comments saying that there are better versions. Maybe later you can react to other versions, or to the clip. Greetings from Argentina.
Yes she was pregnant. She has just recently found out and wore the black belt to help hide the baby bump. And it was the Glastonbury Music Festival. She later announced her pregnancy at the MTV MUSIC Awards while performing Love On Top

I think it's prolly revisionist history on her part because like I said she wore a normal dress the day before the glastonbury performance and she performed (except for 2 songs) exactly what she performed in Glastonbury. The whole set list.

@@TCt83067695 I know about the performances prior and I think for those they were like a warm up to Glastonbury but Glastonbury was the big show and was recorded and televised internationally so I think she took more precautions to hide it for that show than the ones leading up.

Here’s the thing. We know all her performances are great. Her worst performance is better than other artists best.
However, the Hive also is very well aware of her best performance of any song. There’s so many versions of 1+1. This one is not the best version. If you had a BeyHive consultant in your team, they would easily direct you to the right video that will not be blocked. That’s all.
