Remember the Borg? Lifestone camping macro bots with hollow weapons who always shouted YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED. Good stuff. I started on Hightower but sold my account to switch to dark tide because the care bear servers were for pussies (lol we took that shit so seriously back then). I used to farm olthoi to power level then eventually got into farming Pyreal motes while I was at school with macros then sold them on eBay. I was fairly high up in Blood, loved roleplaying the bad guys. Killing people and taking their stuff once I got good at god mode casting, or getting ganked and rushing to the nearest portal to portal-log like a total bitch. Do you remember HKPK? Crazy aggressive solo Hong Kong player who didn’t speak much English but had macros set up to shout “YOUR MOTHER IS PIG” while he was fighting?
I miss my unarmed guy named Drudgeskulker on Darktide. People called me a gimp for going 100 coord/quick/end but I could stand toe to toe with people twice my level or outrun almost anyone. :D
Asheron's call shares A TON of similarities with Runescape. I feel like AC1 could be just as popular as Runescape if they took their product more seriously and not just "a thing of the past".
In all the games I played this was the best PvP. Loved the looting system
