- Where Should You Work? On Ships OR Aeroplanes? Both of these lives have their own advantages and disadvantages but I wish to highlight another aspect today. That is “okay hat are the key differences between both and which life is actually more exciting of the two”. Here in todays video I will be highlighting not one, not two but 16 differences between the two, life as an airplane pilot and life as a ship captain. So let’s start. Where Should You Work? Salam Captain, I’m an airline pilot in US and I can share a big similarity between planes and ships. Both air and water have the same exact principle, only difference being that water is much more dense.
Meaning, the whole Brunelli’s principle applies exactly on the wings of a plane as it does to the rudders of a ship. Planes rely so much on rudders on coordination too.

Become a sailor and experience the mightiness of ocean and feel its unmatched power under your feet. On an airplane, one sees the earth. On a ship, one feels the earth. Both are fascinating. But I am stuck with a desk job in a polluted city with endless traffic jams.

Assalamu Alaikum Captain sahab, I recently became your fan as I just started watching Orange shots. One more difference i would like to add is that you can enjoy a short time travelling experience in airplane but cant experience that on ship mostly especially for workers. An airhostess and fly and touch the ground in less than 24 hours, which is not possible for the crew working on ships.
Captain - we all agree we are talking about two different animals. If you really compare the life of people working in these jobs. You can compare family life which compromised for 5/to 6 month for in occasion. Other hand depending on your role in airlines , you sleep on your bed almost every night with family. Comparing technology/ airplane fast fuel efficient and time savior.
Think about emergency in family - look for airplane not ship.
Again they are totally different animals and different purposes. You are comparing day and night. Thanks for the video anyway. Excellent job

Yah depend karta ha aap kis company k lia kaam karrahay ho... kuch companies bohot zada pay kartay han, like Middle eastern Arab companies, Mostly Ship Captain ki salery zada hoti ha. Salery se zada work environment matter karta ha, Shipping ka work environment Aviation k mokablay ma zada stress free hota ha. Aviation ka work environment bohot stressful hota ha. ma khud aik aircraft technician ho, islia ma in cheezo ko samaghta hon very well. Agar aap kissi cheap ya ghatya aviation company k sath kaam kartay ho to aap life threatening situation ma rahtay ho most of the time. Issi se hi guess karlo k kis ka working environment stress free ha

That's a very fantastic comparison between these two modes of transport but I don't know why experts say Air Transport is the safest mode of all modes of transport. I believe Ships are the best mode of transport but they took a long time to transport as compared to airplanes

Thanks Capt Zahid Nisar , you explained both the perspectives easily for all to understand , both these subjects are close to my heart as I'm a marine engineers son working as an aircraft engr , both these modes of transportation play very important roles in our life like u mentioned majority of trade is done by shipping whereas majority of international transportation is done through aviation , so youngsters ready to join these fields can chose their vocation accordingly as for me I missed my father being there most of my growing years which is not the case with my child , so the social aspect is better in aviation than in maritime navy , anyways to each his own , loved the video , unique comparison , thanks again , Bon voyage

One in air one at sea, laws of gravity. I think life at sea is more though, 4 months at sea. Hats of to you. For pilot's we have confined space. 12 hours duty at a stretch. 😁.

Malakand bulker ship of PNSC and is not allowed to step on shore since his deployment and is living as prisoner. The situation is very serious and most òf the crew on ship has become abnormal and untolerant in their behavior which needs urgent attention. Kindly help in the matter and allow them to step down on shore
