Have you tried using soapy water or windex and squeegee out? Then use heat at the very end... You did a great job. Everything you work on turns out super good!
I’ve done a top end assembly video, but I didn’t show squish clearance. Dave from Two Stroke Performance has an excellent video showing how to check squish.

I’ve done it a few times but I find it more of a pain to get it all out than to just stick them on.

How successful is putting graphics on old plastics?
Oh ya. No problem as long as the surface is sanded down a bit to remove high spots. Done it many times.
