First time trying a too good to go magic bag from Heron Foods - Was it any good?
*Two of the yogurts were given away, the cheese and onion slice was lovely, the burger buns went into the freezer but the rest got decanted into the bin and the packaging recycled. Seeing the mould put me off keeping the other two items….

I felt the same with you when I got a budgens bag a couple of weeks ago, it wasn’t good at all and felt like I wasted £4. I tend to find the bakery type places are best value for money

They gave me a £4 voucher. I sent them a photograph in and they agreed quality wasn’t right x
Tbh I stay away from supermarket bags because they are always random bits and bobs towards the end of some colleagues shift who quickly packs up what’s left in the clearance section 😬 or so it would seem!
Hi glad you got a voucher, people often don’t know that if you get a bad magic bag, you can complain. That was a poor bag and mouldy food can happen ! I had my first Heron Food Magic “box” and it was a good one, see my video number 1805. Our local heron only started doing them last week. I don’t like driving at night or in the ice, so most of my TGTG bags are from our local co-op within walking distance. It’s a shame you wasted the sugar free yoghurts and couldn’t have given them away to friends or neighbours, have you added to your preferences no sugar free items ? We enjoy your videos, you are a natural 👍
I managed to give 2 yogurts away and someone has just suggested Olio so I’m gonna give that a blast for passing any further items on. I’ll take a look at your video xx

bio yoghurt is really good for gut bacteria, and mental health. those yoghurts are just a sweet dessert, people think there healthier but there not
Also have you used the olio app you can use it to give away food you can’t use like the yogurt

@@adventuresafternoontea it helps people that are near by that may need extra support so it’s a feel good factor too. I put some food on it once and I was messaged within 2 mins a lady asked if she could come the next morning , I asked why as most want it right away as that’s how the app works as you will see , her reply got me she said “I’m a single mum my baby is asleep I don’t want to wake or leave him “ I sent my number and offered to walk it to her so she could eat and I had to just add more stuff to the bag I had posted so she could get by .. now that lady keeps in contact with me . Defo makes you feel good and saves food waste x

To be fair, if the parsnips were left whole and not pre glazed and chopped then they wouldn't have been mouldy. Is that not similar to the Muller? Not having a go, but pre chopped and packed veg really winds me up.
Hi there! I wouldn’t normally choose pre chopped veg (although I do occasionally buy a pre made carrot and swede mash so I’m no angel) but as you’ll know you don’t really get a choice. There’s only been one occasion where I really questioned what was happening (in regards to pre packed fruit and veg) and it’s when I received a small pot containing a sliced apple - now that I couldn’t wrap my head around.
To be fair that mold could have been missed as it's not loose food

Surprisingly it’s 4.2 so not really sure what went wrong. I rated them and emailed customer services regarding the mouldy food x
Ewww...moldy food would put me right off everything.
