You have to set the gap between the number plate and mudguard about 5 inches nothing will happen. I have ridden the bike for almost 3k kms. It has never touched the mudguard.
Bhai ye jo nai vitpilian 250 hai uska tail hata k with indicator purana wali me jaesa sirf indicator ata tha vesa kr sakte hai kya.....aor same jo pahle wala tyre hugger with numberplate atah tha wesa laga sakte hai kya
Same I wanted to say. I bought Start only for the original look.. only thing suitable was tail tidy still we can search for good tail tidy in some biker points
It's an issue if you ride with pillion. The bottom will touch on steep speed breaker. On normal speed breaker it's not an issue. Solo ride its never an issue.
Radiator guards don't make sense to me, They don't offer complete cover as there are gaps for air flow so there is a chance of radiator getting damaged even with the guard. They cost 1500 I think it's very close to what a brand new radiator would cost. I would rather buy a brand new radiator instead. And my biggest problem, you still have to clean the whole thing as it keeps accumulating dirt. And if you think the mud flap looks horrible, It cost me just 95rs. It's keeping my radiator super clean, no mud water has spashed on my radiator after installing it. It has kept the radiator safe from debris flying off from the front wheel. In this case I would take horrible looks over radiator guard any day. Spend your money wisely!
@@greyandwhite9730 if you would take horrible looks over spending money, I think then you should also buy cheap bikes over husqvarna, if you want to add 95 rs cheap things on your bike. If you want to own a bmw you can’t have a maruti mentality.
@@ankitchahar7091 if the radiator guard is not providing me with what I need on my bike, why should I use it. If a mud flap is providing me with what I want then I am going to use it. Is this that difficult for you to understand??
If you mount the tail tidy as it's supposed to fit then yes it will hit the wheel because the gap between the wheel and the number plate has to be more than 5 inches. If you fix it like how I have fixed then no it will not hit the wheel hugger. I am using it with ktm wheel hugger at present.
@@greyandwhite9730 Did you try the ns 200 number plate holder. I think it is more longer which will not hit the hugger. Even with the hugger I am getting dirt on my shoulder and Helmet. So planning to keep both hugger and the plate holder
@@shameempk007 I did think of using the number plate holder of the ns. But the mounting points for this holder don't match on the husky. You have to drill holes on the underside of the panels to fit it. I didn't want to do it so I didn't try.
Yes it does get on my back. I have used this fender for 2 months and then replaced it with the stock wheel hugger. The stock wheel hugger does a better job at it.
It's a bit too tall for 5'4" may be. You can take a test ride and see if it works out. You can ride the bike reducing the preload on the rear suspension that will further reduce the ride height when you sit. As stock the preload on the rear is set to medium.
You get it in RE service center just show them the pic or in a parked RE classic front indicator. They will understand. I don't think you will get this online.

Such a great looking bike
amazing video! really loved it!
Wow great video brother 🙌 you’ve convinced me to buy one ☝️
Dont shift number plate to down side, it will scrach of your front mud guard. I experienced the same issue previously when i was changed it to down.
You have to set the gap between the number plate and mudguard about 5 inches nothing will happen. I have ridden the bike for almost 3k kms. It has never touched the mudguard.
Best tail tidy in svartpilen ever…
Thanks👍🏽

To keep the radiator safe do you know there is something called Radiator guard instead of mounting this mud guard extension that looks horrible
Radiator guards don't make sense to me,

Bro what you did with the wire that use to connect the light above the number plate
I removed it from the chain cover and brought it under the seat.
Nice mods bro. I own Svartpilen as well and looking for good tail tidy. I hope this one would be good. Please review this after 1000km.
I'll try to make follow up videos or give feedback whenever time permits✌
Does the tail tidy hits the wheel hugger if I keeps hugger?

How's the dirt with that rear fender? does it get over your back?
Yes it does get on my back. I have used this fender for 2 months and then replaced it with the stock wheel hugger. The stock wheel hugger does a better job at it.
Can u make a video of tail tidy installation plzz
Bro do one video for how to fiting
Please
Hello if you its tyre hugger... Or wnt to sell...i will buy
Any sort of vibrations on the tail tidy?
Yes It vibrates since it's not mounted directly on the chassis.
Sensible mods😊
Why don't you tried classic 350 mirrors or dominar mirrors, maybe that fits your requirements 🤔 this doesn't looks good on this high class bike.
Round mirrors have large blind spot. It becomes an issue on the highway. These wide mirrors offer much better visibility.

Personal opinion you will feel difficult to manage it. I am 5 8. Still my complete foot will not touch ground
