Thanking God for the return of your normal routine. Praying for so many normal days ahead for you guys. Our family has had a rough road for a couple of years and our normal days are very celebrated. Randy’s children’s hospital IS the best. Years ago we spent many years there when our then 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. She just celebrated her 32nd birthday. We are so happy that God answered your prayers. You are so right that people complain about such trivial things. Just try living through things like this. God is always here for us.
There is nothing like the threat of nearly losing a child to make us rethink our priorities and how blessed we truly are. So Happy to hear you are all back home and on the mend again. Oh little momma you have me in tears.
My daughter was on life support for 3 months due to sepsis ..which is not about me, I just empathize with that haunted look on your face.
I'm so grateful to hear that he's doing so much better. And I'm so sorry you're having to live with this.
When it was my daughter I wasn't the fighter I'd always thought I'd be..I crumbled. She survived..thanks to God, the hospital staff and my family.
One day you'll heal. Unfortunately it takes time. Too much time.

Omgosh God bless your baby boy! I know what you feel. My only sisters son my only nephew. Who grew up with my boys as brothers. Randy’s children’s hospital is the best. We spent lots of time there many years ago, when our then 6 year old daughter, was diagnosed with leukemia. She just celebrated her 32nd birthday in January. Praying for you guys!! God is good in mysterious ways!! He's constantly working to teach us and make us bigger and better every day! Without struggles and difficulties we'd never get stronger and more connected to God. My family has had serious medical issues and we've almost lost my dad. It's weird to say but it makes you appreciate the hard times. When we die, all we get to take is our knowledge and memories. Those who have suffered and grown through difficulties will have so much more knowledge as well as trust and faith in God. What a blessing that is to have!! 🙏🙏

So scary to go thru with a child. Glad he is doing better. I think you still need to let yourselves have time to process what has happened and have little break down, its ok and can be cleansing. Your such a wonderful family I love watching you. Take a break, stay strong, know you are loved and we are sending continued prayers. Pick up the camera when you can!

My heart was breaking for you through Jake’s illness. I appreciate that you included your followers. My oldest daughter has a serious health scare when she was 12. Similar time period too 12/4-1/10. Not as severe as Jake’s, but she had osteomyelitis- an infection in her spine. At first they thought she had leukemia - she was very I’ll - not as severe as Jake’s though. But hearing your story reminded me of how I felt at the time: like the rug had been pulled from under my feet. I take my experience and multiply it times 1000 when I heard about Jake. You are amazing parents and I am so grateful that Jake is home and doing well.

I'm so sorry your family has been going through this. 😥😢 I know this has been the most difficult thing any of you have ever had to deal with.. Erin, I see your momma heart still breaking and sympathize so much! My son was diagnosed at 5 years old with type 1 diabetes and it devastated me to know that my son had a disease that we couldn't do anything about and would have to deal with for the rest of his life. Thank God that our children are so resilient! I will keep all of you in my prayers. ❤❤❤

Your story is heartbreaking, but you guys already had such a beautiful family dynamic and it was clear that you had your family priorities where they belonged. I bought some really nice lights but when I installed them they did not work and I'm pretty sure it's because they are not the right ones with the right voltage. I'd love to talk to you guys. I'm disabled my daughter my only minor child. My 3 son's are grown. After my Csection with my daughter went terribly wrong it stole my life. Lost My husband and a lot of my things. So now my oldest and I own a home and it already got a pad wiring and water attachment. My daughter and I will stay in it. I'd like . She and I been looking at tiny homes kitsch all there is. I'm to sick before I got sick a bought and flipped 7 normal sized homes. So that's her and I eyes make a wish a lil home for her and I.
