I admire the big battles and how they are handled here. The variety in the fighting and the amount going on all at once is something I kind of strive for a bit in my own animations. On the critical side, there's some pacing and writing problems that needs to be addressed but the animation is pretty solid all throughout. I love how I can catch all the different animators and who handled what just on the style and quality of animation. Not the best thing for consistency, but it is cool to see. Another thing to note is what is able to be accomplished with a team here. All sorts of variety in the assets, lot's of cinematic buildup and suspense with certain areas. Being someone who kinda pushes the envelope for visuals, there's some stuff that could use work, but overall it is sufficient and very entertaining to watch instead of the generic animations that all do the same things and rely solely on simplistic visuals all around aside from effects. It is new and refreshing. Just make sure the framerate remains consistent in the next episode.
This was very clearly shown to be done by the work of mutiple animators, which brings down consistency. But consistency dosen't matter to me if you can still control the entire flow of the battle, from the planning beginning to the whole fight, this is a long lasting and well done fight throughout the entire video, making small nitpicks wouldn't even be of a concern to me as you convey the plot over small details, a nesscary sacrifice made without the resources to gather real data regarding these small details to the common viewer wouldn't even notice, the music and atmosphere with the dialogue has some clingy moments but makes itself very understandable in other moments. For the resources you had, you've far exceeded my expectations throughout this entire story. I'm deeply Impressed, good job to everyone who contributed and especially Carlos!
pretty solid episode, cant wait for the next episode in 2 years time lol wouldve liked to have seen more from other factions, but even without them this was very enjoyable to watch. good work to you and the good lads who worked on this
Glad to have been a part of this project. Although in my personal belief, my animation has aged like milk, it's still great to see this entire thing come together. Good job to you and everyone else who worked on this
Dude this is amazing. I always love these types of battles and you and the other animators that helped really sold on this. I definitely strive to have this level of skill and dedication for vids
The music at 8:12 is from COD Zombies 3 the characters introduction :D Btw the melee combat part is brutal like a real war,i just saw some rebel break a imperials neck XD
4:01 if you don’t mind answering but what explosion did you use for that grenade explosion. It’s simple yet detailed and I’m having a tough time trying to find a great one to use
3:49 - calm down on that recoil good god An actual critique I have is the amount of forced exposition, forcefully shoving information into a viewer's face makes them less likely to actually give a shit about the story
You got potential to make good videos but you just quit it and i want to know the reason and also if you post monthly or do some shorts per week you actually can be around 50k subscribers
Wake up babe, Carlos Jaze just posted
Lmao.

A long time coming, this has been.
It was worth the effort.
I agree, my friend.
It took us a while, but we did it.
