I can confirm that having a spending spreadsheet works miracles. I live in a different context (job, husband, kid) and we used to struggle financially like most young families, but once we started to write down every single dime we spend, we've become more conscious as consumers. Hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made, money-wise :-)
Downloading an app for it made the difference for me, it's called Money Manager abd when I saw the amount I spent on takeaways I knew it was time for a self-intervention lol

Op amps are my favourite. Becoz at 1st it was hard so I really put a lot of effort to get it properly and now I'm fully satisfied with it . And now it's fun doing them coz it's the same rules and principles applied again and again.

Where's the library on downing site? I occasionally have a 2 hour break when I'm down there all day and I haven't found somewhere I can work yet. My college is ages away so I don't like cycling back because it just wastes so much time and energy. Please and thank you!

Are you being recognised by a lot of the freshers this year? I ended up switching from materials to earth so turns out I’m doing exactly the same subjects you did last year
Yes I’ve been recognised a few times by freshers who have watched my videos haha. Hope you’re enjoying earth, the department is so friendly and I’m glad I took it in first year 👍

I’ve set myself a goal grades-wise for the end of the year and it is usually sufficient to make me want to do work. If I’m feeling particularly unmotivated, I’ll plan fun social activities for the weekend that I can only attend if I get all my work done beforehand 😂

Oh, at universities in Poland all of the lectures and supervisions are usually 90 mins long, some are even 135 or 180 mins !

It really varies, but I aim for 8 hours on weekdays and 4 hours on Saturdays/Sundays (but that’s not to say I always stick to it haha!)
