@Amalie Olsdatter meh, more than 80% of the population in Northern Norway distrust the central government in the capital surveys show so we might just be better off independent, we didn't sign under the constitution either way so Nordland, Troms and Finnmark would have to be thoroughly persuaded not to join Sámeednam like increased autonomy at least, the hundred of years since Hålogaland joined the kingdom we haven't really ever been valued as equals either way. Fornorskningen, the "northerners not wanted" policy until around the 70s, 130 years of waiting for the nordnorgebanen to Kirkenes, infrastructure in general, Repparfjord, the Kautokeino rebellion, the Alta controversy or the constant devaluation, centralisation and under prioritisation of the region we see today. It might not be as much we against them (the Southerners) these days but it has always been we AND them and I fear it always will. Also the norse where the first in SOUTHERN Scandinavia, where the sámi or finns originate isnt important as the norse ultimately originated in Europe, we where likely the first in the North, though most of us in Hålogaland are quite mixed as we lived side by side but our sami sides are often supressed due to the assimilation period.
