Wasn't more than 3 months ago when I thought mumbojumbo made the most complicated redstone. Whenever I watch your videos, it is genuinely a foreign language I'm hearing.
Just a note. Recycling is the hardest step and the last one you should ever do. There are three R's First Reduce Then you Reuse and at last you Recycle. Recycling is expensive and hard to do. We should have recycling as the last option because of that.
I have to say, this is probably one of the best advanced basic tutorials I've seen. It's clear, concise, and most importantly, you explain why you did what you did. And possible errors. I love these kind of videos.
12:11 that is exactly what ive been looking for. a reliable method of shutting off the crafters after the chests are full. hopefully this works with stackable items as well
Love this.... a great insight into next level redstone building. It's great to see these little tricks that make this game just that much more. I had a redstone build I was working on the other day that stumped me with updateorder... I forgot about how rails work!!! I will be revisiting it now with refreshed knowledge 😊
My first idea when it comes to crafters, is that hoppers aren't great for putting materials into them. So it requires quite a bit to get the timings right and robust enough. Using droppers to input items on demand instead of hopper timings seems easier to manage. It becomes more of a counting pulses than hopper timings situation.
specifically, droppers and hopper minecarts. hopper minecarts aren't rate limited in the way that normal hoppers are, so can more efficiently transfer materials from inputs into the dropper line.
There isn't much precedent for it in the kind of content I produce, I can assure you if I recorded me designing things for the first time I would sound very different.
Challenge: make a machine that makes shulker boxes infinitely. Therefore a very small shulker farm and a very small chest farm (bamboo) then it could make a little shulker ATM. I’d imagine the footprint wouldn’t be large but to make it efficient, practical, and decently sized sounds like a fun challenge.
It will likely be impossible due to needing to block every single spot for shulkers to teleport to, and needing a huge area where shulkers can actually attach themselves. It will be much harder and much more complicated than not being lazy
@@konstick66-pepeland60 Most definitely not impossible; both shulker and tree farms already exist. I made a white shulker box factory using the carpet mod autocrafting table a while ago, and I plan to update it with crafters.
To me it just feels like having a single big farm for shulkers, wood, and the like with the shulker crafting on-site is just always gonna be muuuuch more efficient then tryna plop down a shulker farm and wood farm any one place you need shulker boxes
There are a couple cool directions to take this: First, it would be nice to have the system take in a shulker box like the one you showed in the beginning. Second, it would be sweet to have this build them “on demand”, so the mechanism would have an item input (hopper, water stream, etc) and would have a shulker box output. It would drain items from the shulker material box as it needs them. And finally, a combo shulker/log farm to create the “batteries”, so you just bring a box of box materials out to your farms and drop in a battery. This way you can just have every machine that needs boxes just have a battery chest, and it spits out boxes until the battery dies
This already builds on demand? Like, with an output buffer, even. Just going up to a chest an emptying it or running a dispenser would make this system "on demand" in the way you seem to be implying, without requiring the player to cart around materials themselves. Like, a lot of what makes this system good is that it *doesn't* spit out boxes until the internal "battery" (ie input buffer) dies. If you want to load it yourself, toss a shulker unloader and item sorter on
That Hysteresis circuit on the output chest fill level detection is so clean and simple... I'll replace all my 2 chests-2 comparators based overflow protection hysteresis circuits with this now.
I'm only using Axiom in place of another mod called Kikugie's tech utils, Axiom is not ideal for technical builds because its features are oriented towards decorative building over redstone circuitry. Kiku's tech utils basically syncs litematica with world edit to form a much more tech friendly utility. However Kiku is a bit overwhelmed by the subversions and hasn't updated to 1.20.4 yet.
it would be nice to have an update on the how to build item sorter specially the item settings for each chest with 1.21 update. specially with shulker crafter and the system to prevent to sorter to break like you had before. a video that will just teach how to use the programs, and slice of the system with the world downloads and maybe separated litematica file for each section of the build (item settings, slice of the sorting system and other sections each on different litematica file with a completed system in another one). if you have time, please make this video. this is the best sorting system that i had ever seen.
Small suggestion: the dyeing should be a different machine so you don't NEED to dye them if you don't need them to be Great video, this is a fun machine :)

What mod was that being used to move the chests at 15:55? Seemed functionally similar to WorldEdit but clearly a different interface. I've heard of Axiom, is that what it was?
it's funny how many chemistry concepts can be found in these videos. rate being limited by the slowest step, balancing equations by doubling and dividing the input, etc.. His explanations are so simple too, he could give my chem professors a run for my $5000 tuition
If my math is correct assuming a tickspeed of 20 TPS, this system would take 10 hours and 22 minutes to turn one double chest filled with shulkers for each ingredient into shulker boxes. This would also yield a total of 46656 boxes.
Hey Cubic, it would be really cool if you could put the link to the specific music track for each video, cause, I'm not sure what track from Artism this video has. Just a suggestion, keep up the good work!
Its kind of annoying to post music on the second channel because TH-cam requires you to format something as a video but my music is all just audio in mp3 files.
Can you input a parallel input into the Cracters via the side of them to allow for the machine to run at the maximum 8 tic per craft rate, doubling the output speed? Don’t know if you can have hoppers input from the side of the crafter or not. And for the wood you could just have a second plank crafter imputing into the chest crafter?
Do you think it’s possible to make a tnt shot gun with a mechanic to fire a compact shell, but then after some air time a tnt explodes and spread all the other tnt out, that way close range stuff is annihilated but if it’s in the spread zone, get heavily damaged?
Could you make it so it keeps the 8 game tick clock but turns off after 60 items are crafted so when you only want a few you don't have to wait twice the time? Also could you use chain instead of the trapdoors, because the noise would annoy me to much. Maybe use a lamp as an out of items warning??
I would have used a bamboo farm with a plank crafter from the bamboo. It would make it fully automatic and would only require the addition of dye and shulker shells.
Could you automatically stack the boxes by using a counter, and hopper minecarts to collect the stacks? That would make the boxes really easy to transport on carpet servers and could be a great addition to a main storage.
A project I would love to see you working on are enderpearl cannons I remember seeing xcom6000 half a decade ago creating mindblowing cannons that tpd you thousands of blocks, with your experience in tnt cannons and especially the recent nuke cannon you could make a literal TP machine.
The new meta for transportation cannons is actually player based cannons where you load the player into the cannon using an enderpearl then launch the player at some extreme speed with an elytra for gliding to a final destination.
Why is it so important to power the dispensers in a specific order? Shouldn't it be enough if they are activeted at the same rate, as long as none of them are completely full or empty?
I wish they make an advanced hopper made out of like gold and a normal hopper or something that operated every 2 game ticks (Bedrock's got Java by the bank account) instead of every 8.
Yes however increasing the complexity of the build to get to hopperspeed empty box production is pointless given you are never going to be consuming boxes that quickly.
