Definitely the base station. There is a teleporter in the game so I assume there will be satellite stations or outposts later on. As for the thalassophobia, I once jumped off a boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The water was crystal clear but because it was so deep, it looked black. I lasted 3 secs and one shadow. The rest of the day was spend on the boat.
Why is there a need for them to kill Planet Crafter? I mean, All they need to do is make enough content to compete. There are like dozens of games in every genre.

I think Planet Crafter is different enough. The change in the planet makes it a unique game. Planet Crafter will live.
