was not really expecting to just get world record on my first real attempt at it. regardless i'm really happy about it. i've wanted a record for this game (besides category extensions) for a while and i have it. i think this category has sub 2 hour potential, so ill be trying to work it down. but for now this is sick.

sorry i dont usually delve into speedrunning stuff, but why do you need to reset the console at 42:56?

no its a fair question! essentially when you go through the autoscroller section in dad's dream and in vicky strikes back, it makes it so you have to get much closer to collect coins. you dont have to reset, but it makes the run much easier than if you dont
