The story is AMAZING, though in Yoko Taro's signature fashion, there are plenty of parts that are pretty depressing... (Damn you, Yoko Taro, for making us NieR enjoyers cry!) The English VA for 9S, Kyle McCarley, knocked his role OUT OF THE PARK, especially during Routes C/D (where Yoko Taro depression went BRRRR the hardest.) 9S: "It doesn't matter. NONE OF THIS MATTERS!" A2: "9S..." 9S: "But if it doesn't matter... why do I long for [SPOILER DELETED] like this!? Why do I desire the touch of something that no longer exists!?"
