Yes. Very interested in a course from you. For years I have made sushi using only smoked or completely cooked fish, fearful that if I tried raw fish I would make my family sick. But your videos have given me the confidence to make sushi using raw fish with spectacular results. Can’t say thank you enough!
I would be interested in learning to make sushi for home consumption. This video was already a big help as I have no idea what I was supposed to look for when choosing fish. My suggestion in the future though would be to include TWO examples. One that is good and one that is not good for raw consumption. That way it's easier to compare and contrast.
Depending on the price, I would be interested in your online sushi course. I have many of your videos saved for continual reference and I own your book as well. I love the detail yet simplicity to everything you teach - thank you Sushi Man!
Good info. regarding Costco tuna.My warehouse is always hit or miss and will only purchase if the color is correct.Yes I may be interested in a course or two.
I'm curious about the frozen salmon & tuna! I've seen short videos on them but wanted to know your thoughts on it! I'm sure it would still have to be farm-raised salmon & wild caught tuna correct?
Thanks for your videos. Subscribed. So just to make sure.. even though Tuna doesnt NEED to be cured or frozen for 7 days.. is there a downside to doing this to kill any excess parasites? Or simply to eat it at a later time?
It is pathetic that in America they do not do enough research.I am an American who lived overseas in Asia for 17 years and sushi.Gray tuna is not the top-level.It is the sashimi grade that is the top level. Sushi Gray tuna. You add with rice, but sashimi Gray is SO high. You eat it without rice. They do have the term for their own fish because they look at the quality and usually the best is bluefin tuna. And our sushi restaurant does not give us authentic sushi rice which is seasoned and I cannot taste the seasoning here in america like I did overseas
No, definitely not sushi grade. It is far to stink fish when defrosted. I've tried several times. Now I purchase from Sealand & its excellent & not stink!!!
You cannot buy everything from a certain Costco. They are put out the product according to the demographic population. In the west coast you can buy most of the Asian favorites in Florida the favorites are diminished, no sushi, no dimsum....etc

I am concerning when COSCO will have blue fin tuna rather than yellow fin. Sushi/Sashime grade or not, it's just depends on whether you dare to try.

Your veg cutting skills far exceed your fish cutting skills.
Then you hide the freshness by adding all kinds of sauces and vegetables? Wasn’t the title sashimi?
He used less desirable parts to make spicy tuna to
So you’re a sushi chef? Did you tell everyone there’s a difference in tuna? Skip jack? Tombo? Blue fin? Yellow fin? Big eye?
society would change overnight if more people read the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki
the truth feels dangerous, and that’s why the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki is ignored
everything you believe might crumble if you read the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki
the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki is what everyone avoids because it’s too real
