Soundbytes: President Joe Biden said on Wednesday (July 24) he had pulled out of the race against Republican Donald Trump because of his concerns about the future of the country, his first public remarks since his abrupt departure from the 2024 campaign. In an Oval Office address, Biden described his love for the office that he will leave in six months, capping a half century in public office. "I revere this office," Biden said. "But I love my country more."
