Saw a few MC with yor sticker decide to drop in enjoy the vw,s working on a few buses 67's and have a 64, and afew more bugs..They just follow me and my son home, so we give them a name and keep them.

Notice how not one is the same. This is what I like about classic vw. Go to any other car show of same cars and they're all the same. Bugs and busses are so individual.

@@vanepinstriping Certainly was! Opening meet for the season is always a blast 😝 One meet I can really recommend is the Bug Show in August at Spa. Maybe you won't be able to make it there this year but it's one you have to go to once as a dublover 😁 Hope you enjoy the Euro aircooled community 🙂

These are the sites for the meets, I've never been able to go to Chimay since it's always during my finals but yeah they are different meets. Chimay is more known for the Drag racing while I'd say Spa is more of laid back meet.

Where are all the type 3 cars.
~ $6.00 for a Hot Dog?!!! WOW and I'm not even cheap! Better be Smokies for that price, that or the proceeds are going to a really good cause. 🌭😋👍🏻 That's literally the first time I've ever seen hot dogs and hamburgers going for the same price.
most of them seem to be left hand drive. i wonder how many came from the US?
There were quite a few left hand drive and some owners mentioned getting them from AZ or Cali etc. Its amazing how some of these get passed around the world. :)
I’d say 50/50 USA and Northern Europe .
A lot of folks importing rust free or rare stuff into the U.K.

No, we stayed in Claygate at the Foley Hotel. It was very close to the show.

No, there are a few different ones. Panel (no windows other than front/back), 11 window, 15 window, 21 window and 23 window. :)

Geez, my 1974 VW 412 automatic 2.0 and a/c must be really rare because I never see any Type4 at any of the air-cooled meets, I know its the ugly duckling of the air-cooled world but the 412's are remarkable. I should think about selling mine or trade it for a Fiat X1/9 ;-)
Fiats are neat! I think the 70’s models will start gaining more and more popularity as time goes on. Maybe I’m wrong but just a thought. ☺️
@@vanepinstriping Yep they are, my favourite is the X and the 131 and some 128. The 128 here in Austria are way over expensive can't get one for under 15k which kills me because where I come from you can still get them under 4k and those are with a/c and maybe automatics, but my heart always goes out to the air-cooled ;-) :-D
