Same thing brother....while I was at my local gun store we had them both out on the counter and it must have taken me 30 minutes to make a decision...went with the Executive.........two months later used my stimulus check (Thanks Biden) and bought the original.....nice short video. Canik's are so nice....triggers are amazing. I now have seven TP9 models now....
I absolutely love mine!! I have the executive model and I was amazed at how nice this gun shoots. It’s very accurate and the trigger is amazing...I have some really good poly 9mms like the P10C, VP9 and G45...this has become my favorite poly 9mm

@@blazability3469 The executive will fit into the Tactical Gear or Ghost holsters for the Walther Q5 with a little modding in the mag release area and in the Ghost holster for Beretta APX with the slim magazine release mounted on the slide
Newer ones are coming through with the standard American thread 1/2x28. Just got a combat elite FDE two days ago. Has the 1/2x28! It’s stamped on the left hand side of barrel hood.
I have yet to fire my executive version but love the reviews that are mostly positive. I have dry fired and love the trigger when I compare it to my Glock 19 that hurts my finger before I’ve fired a full magazine.
I saw a TP9 Elite Combat at a very low price but it uses a Metric M13,5x1 thread. I suspect that was the reason for the low price. Please make sure you are getting the thread Protector with 1/2x28 right hand threads.
If anyone wants you can flip the clips on the holster to make it an iwb works great might just need to add a wedge but for a bigger build person can easily be concealed
@@ECPOutdoors You are right I do have the paddle and as we are not able to concealed carry or open carry in Norway it is more than good enough for range use. @Nazi TH-cam Norway has yet to come up with a list of other accepted pistols besides the Clock 19, who is the current one and the one I am obliged to carry when on duty!
Great gun for the price if don’t want to purchase any additional accessories. After buying a Combat Elite Executive I tried to get the 02 optic plate for a Trijicon and had no luck finding one. It comes with the 01 which is for a Vortex. I also tried to buy additional magazines. Again, no luck. Canik was no help and never replied to emails. I sold it and used the money towards the purchase of a Staccato C2.. Staccato has great customer service and has been Johnny on the Spot. Yes it’s a lot more expensive then a Canik but you get what you pay for.
I called Canik and asked about a failure to extract issue that I read about. They took down my information and sent me another spring without any payment or questions. That is the type of customer service they gave me.
Unfortunately they’re like unobtanium at the moment. I’ve seen in groups people are saying to keep an eye on Caniks direct website as they’ll come in stock periodically
just purchased a pro mag made for the canik. they seem to be readily available in 18 round. haven't used it yet. hope it feels properly like the o.e.m. mec-gar mags. here's the product code if your interested CAN-A1. also it isn't flush like the 15+3 oem mag it hangs out a little
They both shoot great straight out of the box. Too bulky for conceal carry. I use the exec for competition and the combat on the 50 acres farm for coyotes.

I heard people say that the black version corrodes quicker, how has your executive been holding up so far? Does the gold barrel get dirty easily?

Facts but they do have FDE with right hand as well I think it just depends on when you purchased it

Thread pitch is different. The executive has a more traditional thread pitch as compared to the fde’s left hand thread pitch.

I believe the holsters in this video are their most current holster. The originals used to be a paddle holster

Probably up until you shoot it LOL. Never liked gold barrels myself. I'd be wiping it if constantly because of black residue
