My husband's parent's didn't like me because I'm biracial, My husband passed away 4years ago, he left me everything! I still make sure his parents are taken care of because if it weren't for them I wouldn't have met the man of my dreams. They created him and I'm thankful for that. He was an amazing husband and made sure I needed for nothing for the rest of my life.
Bro for yall who dont know , kobe has given his parents millions..hes bought them multiple houses, cars , etc ...he set them up to be rich for the rest of their lives but they ALWAYS spent all the money and they ALWAYS came back for more...when they wanted another house, Kobe gave them a budget of 700-800k and they told him they wanted more money for a better house (keep in mind they already have multiple)..what do they do? Instead of just accepting a free 800k house , they sold his memorabilia without his permission so they could get the house they wanted. This is so true. My father used to say this all the time. As prolific as his life was and as rich as he was, he died young and he couldn't take it with him. Man you don't know their relationship. Kobe gave his parents millions despite them not approving of their marriage. And later, in 2013, tried to sell some of his memorabilia he left them at their house. He wrote that letter to his younger self on the Players Tribune saying he regrets just handing out money to his family as opposed to setting them up for their own success so they can have purpose in their life. He expressed that his parents didn't show gratitude and it wasn't enough when he bought them a house. Maybe they blow through all the money instead of taking care of it. There's still a limit to how much a child should give their parents. They're grown people - they should have been wiser.

There are some bridges that can not be patched....we don't know the story between the parents and kobe and his wife, but it seems that there was an underlying issues to make her come to this decision. The fact that Kobe didn't leave them the money backs up my theory.

This is so true. My father used to say this all the time. As prolific as his life was and as rich as he was, he died young and he couldn't take it with him. And later, in 2013, tried to sell some of his memorabilia he left them at their house. He wrote that letter to his younger self on the Players Tribune saying he regrets just handing out money to his family as opposed to setting them up for their own success so they can have purpose in their life. He expressed that his parents didn't show gratitude and it wasn't enough when he bought them a house. Maybe they blow through all the money instead of taking care of it.
