there's something about this interviewer guy, i wouldn't say douchy is the right word, but it just seems to me like his values are just a bit off somehow, with the whole question about lionhearted and the comment about the whole production porn approach not being wrong. fair enough if you were asking someone who was actually on that side of things and who would actually write a song for that reason, but it just seems really weird to be asking porter these things, as his views on all of this stuff and his general moral and level of integrity should be quite obvious to you if you've followed him on twitter for longer than ten minutes. idk, the interviewer seems like a nice guys, but his values seem a bit off to me, which is why i think i could manage hanging out with him, but not THAT often, and I feel like i'd probably spend the time we would hang out, trying to convince him in a subtle way that he was wrong and that there is a better, less cynical way to approach music and all of that stuff hahah ^^
