@@gracejohnston2692 yes, you can use a 4 weight yarn. It comes out just under 6 feet long. If that length works for you, just keep it at the 7 repeats of 42 rows…but if you want, you can complete another round of repeats to take your scarf to 48 total rows. Choice is yours. But it will come out amazing either way!! Hope this helps! 😎

Greetings from France . Congratulations what a beautiful shawl. I came upon a video with you and MOM two days ago 🥰 I love her smile and her excitement to be a part of this show. To be honest SHE STOLE THE SHOW. She is amazing and her blankets are GORGEOUS. I am very proud of both of you. Today I wasn't searching for crochet videos but came across this POPCORN video. Sublime Beautiful Gorgeous Fantastic Amazing 😍 loved it. Thanks for giving the measurements as i had no clue of the length or width for shawls. Phew! One guess work is solved. I SUBSCRIBED. Your voice is very soothing and calm and your giggles are contagious. Thanks for sharing caring and making a 72 year old SMILE 😊. A BEARY hug from my Gentle Giant my water rescue Newfoundland and a hug from me, to you and your Sweet Adorable Mom. 🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍❤❤❤😍😍😍💖💖💖🌹🌹🌹
I like the way you stitch through the bobble instead of on top. This way it doesn't leave a gap caused by the heaviness of the stitch. I've never seen it done this way; clever. Very pretty pattern, thank you, Juan.
Thank you so much 🙏😘. You’re an awesome teacher. I’m a beginner but I sure love the way you explained and you did a few more rows to make sure that we understand and able to follow. I’m a visual learner and I will be crocheting alongside with you when I’m ready to start mine. Right now I will be watching few more times before I will crochet alongside with you. Again, thank you 🙏😘🩷 so much. God bless you…
From the moment I saw this scarf I knew it was one of the most gorgeous scarfs I’ve ever seen. Sadly I thought I would never get to make it and there was no pattern. Now here you are so quick to do this tutorial. I feel like you are giving us all a wonderful gift. Ty so very much for this Juan. Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to you and your Mom 😊
Im going to start again and see if I can move forward. never mind the written pattern I just keep watching and it makes sense again. I keep trying and ill get there Thanks Juan
I have seen other videos where you are wearing your work. I always thought they were really attractive pieces. When you said this was a tutorial, that got my attention.
This pattern would look beautiful using almost any yarn, Juan, but I do love the way a single-ply shows off the stitches. I'm sure the winner will love it!
I’m a knitter, before the internet I had to take a crochet class because so many of my knit patterns (only hard copy) had crochet components to them. None of my old patterns list “bunny ears” in the stitch definition. 😂❤I love your tutorials because you do give those visual and verbal cues that help me remember in the next row. I love this pattern and plan to crochet one in the new year! Thank you for sharing your passion for crochet with your friends.
First time watching. Really enjoyed this and you made it so clear. My one question is you call this a scarf but, to me, it looks like a shawl. To me a scarf is a long rectangle. Just want to know your terminology so I don’t confuse the two in your videos. Thanks.
@@RCKYBOO2024 hi! Thanks for watching! We have what’s called “triangle scarfs” where the triangle is more “long” than it is deep. I think if one were to wear this as a shawl, they would notice the shape is very much not the same. If you google “triangle scarf” you will see what I mean :)
Thank you Juan. I love how detailed with your stitches you are. I will be one of your faithful watchers. I'm having trouble finding the right words to say what I want to convey to you. God bless.
Hi Juan, I just made this scarf for my sister. Your tutorial is well explained and easy to follow. The scarf turned out to be absolutely gorgeous!! I really wish I could share a picture of it. I’m pretty sure my sister will fall in love with it. I couldn’t find scarfie yarn so I used instead “Facettes Loops & Threads in Autumn color” I used 3 skeins. Color and pattern combined made one of the most beautiful scarfs I’ve seen. Thank you Juan!
I'd love to see this done in a rectangular/infinity scarf rather than the triangle shape, the patterns beautiful. I may have to try & work out the stitch count etc for myself to have a go at making it into an infinity scarf (with the pattern going long ways) 😊

Very pretty shawl. I’m surprised this is your first live video- you did awesome! Very clear, the pace was perfect. I just discovered you and am definitely going to be looking at any other projects and/or patterns you may have. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent pattern, Juan!! I also love the colour you chose for this shawl and your gentle lesson. First time I met your channel and enjoyed this time crocheting with you!!thanks for sharing!! 👏👏👍🙋♀️🇦🇷🇦🇷

I just ran across your TH-cam video. You know TH-cam it can take years. I wanted to tell you ,I've watched 100s of videos ,but you seem to stand out ,to me, you explain things by giving each thing you do a name instead of just saying chain two,. This seems to stick in my mind and when I go to work this scarf it has stuck what you call the stitches and i know exactly what to do and don't have to keep going back to look to see what you did next.Im going to compare you to a child song ,doing your scarf was like learning the ABC song as a child. Easy to remember just sing the song, one to lock one to move on. To me this is very important ,when you don't have to keep checking the pattern ,you can just sing the song and before you know it you have finished the scarf ,shaw, in record time. And it's beautiful. Thank you.
Juan you are a very patient teacher..I self taught by watching men and women I worked with. My first stitches created a basic granny square and I was hooked.
