    Good to hear from you J. Sure glad you’re doing better, we’ve had hot humid and dry weather, but the past week or so the temperatures has been down some with rain. We’re getting closer to fall, time is passing fast.

    Glad to see you up and about and that you're feeling better. Your back and the heat are nothing to play with. Looking forward to the next trip.

      Thanks Ray, I’m happy to be able to get out again. The weather has been brutal anyway, so I didn’t miss too many fishing days .

    Nice to be on the salt again and catch a few Specks......The weather here has been the same.....I put the boat in and get blown off the water so I've been off for several weeks with 13 inches of rain and more lightning storms coming from North Florida than I can ever remember!!😎🎣

      Charlie, thanks for the gracious comment. I am still dealing with the back issue, but can get out on a limited basis. High water temps and dirty water conditions makes finding fish pretty difficult right now. I got “skunked” this morning in two hours of fishing. Heh, it happens, but it was nice watching the sunrise.

      Thanks Shawn, I will be avoiding the high temps expected for the next week or so. The heavy rains have made finding fish difficult anyway. Take care.

    Saw you on the water a few days ago,July 5 or 6?
    I get there before sunrise and keep a low profile.
    Caught the smallest Redfish I have ever caught on a Spook Jr.,lol,8"!!
    Hope your feeling better,Steve.

      Hey Steve, I didn’t fish long, maybe two hours. I caught one 16 inch trout, I just couldn’t find any fish. Doing better, MRI this next week. Hope you are doing well and good to hear that you are fishing again. Take care.

      I’m doing good, thanks for asking. I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to go fishing lately, the weather has been atrocious, very hot and lots of rain. Getting a MRI tomorrow to see if I damaged anything in my back. Hopefully soon, I will be back on the water.

    Hello Sir. I was wondering about you so sorry to hear about the injury but glad to see you are on your way back. Can I assume the beginning of this was shot with a drone? I like watching and knowing where you're at. They reopen the beach at the park yet? Plus you might want to fix this: 130 views 15 hours ago
    After hurting my back sex weeks ago, it is good to be back on the water in my favorite place to fish, Big Lagoon State Park in Pensacola. All the best my friend and let someone else cut the grass, I want to watch you fish.

      Congrats, you win the prize, you were the first to comment on my new camera. I needed to replace one of my GoPro cams, so I got an Insta360 RS1, which comes with a regular lens and a 360 deg. lens. It is mounted on a long selfie stick, and if mounted correctly the stick disappears. My first time using it, so I have a few bugs to work on. The beach area parking lot is still closed but can be accessed from the Pavilion parking lot. I agree with with the click bait wording, it would have brought a million views. The weather has been so horrible, I did't really miss that many opportunities to fish, plus the water conditions are really bad. And yes, my mowing days are probably over. Take care my friend.

    Staying right next to the Johnson Beach Canoe launch and was wondering where to go once I put in and what to throw?? Brought tackle to target specks and reds, but can go heavier. Kayak bound though! Thanks!

    • @JAllredFishing
      @JAllredFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From the launch, go left and fish the shoreline to the island. Stay about 30 feet out and fan cast to the shoreline and work out. Fish all the flats around the island. Fish near mullet schools. I carry three rods, top water, plastic, and hard bait. Use a light jig head for plastic, I use 1/8 oz. If no takers in the shallow water, fish near the channel marker in 4-5 ft of water. I am hoping to fish a couple of hours early tomorrow, so give me a wave if you see me. Good luck.

    • @JAllredFishing
      @JAllredFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought that was you. I fished that area after you left, but quit when the wind pick up. The boat was in deeper water on Friday, another derelict boat to fish around.

      @@JAllredFishing I think the rain killed the fishing. That area as well as the lagoon were on fire with tons of 18-19 inch trout before the rain, however I couldn't catch anything nice that day. Oh well, take care.
