    When I was in high school I was doing some incline dumbbell presses with 65 lb’ers. These were the old circus style dumbbells with the spherical ends. I put them on my quads/thighs before I laid back. Next thing I know, the right one slides down my thigh and crushes my right nut. I probably crawled around on the gym floor on my hands and knees for 10 minutes absolutely gasping for air. To this day, worst pain I’ve ever felt and that includes car crashes, and different torn ligaments and muscles.

    In my school gym, a freshman smashed his hand under 3 plates and 2 of his fingers literally fell onto the floor, there was blood everywhere

    I think the worst gym fail for me was doing an overhead press with 135. I deadlifted it, got it to my chest, got my hands under the bar and went to press up. I bent my legs to give it some starting momentum and clocked myself under the the chin. I had to put it down and sit down, I got very wobbly.

    I had stitches on my nob as well. I thought it was a good idea to zip my trousers up without boxers, went right up the shaft, had to call my mum because I was to embarrassed to ask anyone else 😅. It bleeds, it bleeds a lot.

    My son says I'm the definition of badass because he was there when I had my worst injury at the gym. I dislocated my thumb and I popped it back in place. Took a Tylenol and went back to what I was doing

    Another great video. The one about using his shirt as a measure of progress, that's actually something I am doing as I am on my body recomposition journey. My first goal was to get back to my Army fit shape but according to my doctor's electro analysis thing, just my muscle now already weights almost as much as when I got out of the Army so I am going to see how big I can get over the next couple years. #40plusgettingbackinshape

    Oh it's nothing just a broken finger. I did something like that once. Mountain biking downhill. Crashed hard kicked my bike out of frustration and paced around a bit. I eventually calmed down and went to pick up my bike when I suddenly realized my right thumb was dislocated and broken. So yeah it hurt getting it popped back into place and getting set but, it really sucked having a cast on after as I couldn't ride or do much of anything that requires use of my right hand. Worst was to come in the navy though. Crushing my friends middle fingers with a detachable link from the anchor chain of an aircraft carrier. USS HARRY S TRUMAN CVN-75 I still feel terrible about that. The bones in his middle fingers split down the middle and his skin ruptured like hotdogs in a microwave. He saved my shins if not for him I probably wouldn't be walking.
