This is nice! But I am looking for Japanese movement because it's the most precise of all... could this be the one?
My clock does not always chime at the top of the hour. Every once in awhile it will go. I can't make it go off by moving the hands. Do you have any idea what's wrong?
As per the manual some things that may cause it to not play every hour, changing battery and changing time on clock will cause it not to play that hour, but will pick up next hour. Also, and maybe a big issue depending where in your house it is located, it has a light sensor, so I guess whenever it does not see enough light, it will not chime on the top of the hour. I hope that helps.

I've had one for more than 2 years. They're completely molded plastic and don't weigh much at all.
They constantly stop working, and it's expensive to repair.
For me, it was not worth the cost.
I paid $150 for mine, and each one of my repairs cost over $70.
Your money is better spent on old cookoo clocks or similar. They're at least solid and dependible.
But...The animation figures and other animated parts are still awsome to see. That's why I spent $70 for the repairs.
Can we set the music only turn on in specific time? Not every hour. Maybe every at 12 pm and 12 am only?

No, but you can cheat the system of the clock by placing it in a dark room with a lamp that only comes on at those times. Boom. Problem solved. 😁
Any way to disable the music it plays as it resets the face? It kind of ruins the effect.
.....not that i can tell...and i am really disappointed in that....but not all of the chimes have the recovery music.
Does anyone know how to fix this if the clock doesn’t play music other than when pressing the demo button?
Hmm sounds like an issue with the light sensor. Make sure the light sensor is clean and put it in direct light to see if it works
it only works when there is light since there is a light sensor to prevent it from turning on went it's night time, or it's just in the off selection
Except the music box is to my 2018 special collectors edition
They reused some of the music box toons in the 2019 edition...they just did not put it in the label info

Hi! After almost exactly one year my clock doesn’t work:(. It keeps time but seems to be stuck mid motion! It has never been touched since putting it on the wall:(.
Did you change batteries?
I’ve had that struggle several times with my 2019 clock. Changed batteries, took clock apart, greased it.. eventually greasing the motor fixed it. So maybe try opening it up and trying that? It’s worth a try.

They are sold every year by sam's club. They are mostly plastic

If you have Sam's club there they are 75 around Christmas time..

I have one of the mantle versions of this clock and it is light sensitive. Is this wall version similar?
yes....no chimes when it is dark.

mine stopped moving and playing music any advice on how to fix it
Call warranty. I have never had one fail, but if the volume is up and it will not work it's may be a factory flaw of some kind.

you can turn down the volume to nothing, and turn off the chimes completely if you want.

The clock is 2 years old, so out of warranty. The cheap batteries corodded one wire, I need a new wire, where do I get parts?
i do not know, however I have to assume that if you re-wire it with anything aftermarket that the quality would probably be better. This type of product always tries to cheap out on the wiring, so anything you replace it with will likely be an improvement.
