Doc Rich, on the topic of heads on spikes. The people who ordered that thing never lived in the area to see that daily. In short the powerful don't have to deal with the issues of the rabble. And the rabble get to see a message.
Guy Fawkes got caught because one of his co-conspirator wrote an anonymous letter saying "hypothetically what would happen if we blew up the parliament building"
Keep doing your research, it makes your videos on these much better. Just remember that they vary their jokes so you might not get all of them anyway. One line in this one I don't think you got was the GI Joe reference. Fawkes says, "Face it Ernesto, your Castro but less so he's Cuba Commander your more of the Destro" Cuba Commander is a play on Cobra Commander from GI Joe, and the character Destro is constantly depicted as the 2nd in command or "mercenary" villain. So Fawkes is saying that Che Guevara plays second string to Castro.
If you think Guy Fawkes’ head on a spike it bad. Read about Vald III Dracul, better know as Vlad the Impaler (who was also the inspiration for dracula) he made forests out of the enemies that he impaled. These were often in strategic spots as to force other invading forces to walk though the forest of the dead and dying so last moments were them being suspended in the air by a spike in their belly.
Guy's hardest hitting line in my opinion was " you muddled your Economy like Mint in a Mojito" double meaning Mint as in Money and the herb Mint if used to much makes the Mojito bitter
Oh lol I thought it was the two different meanings of the word muddle - you muddle the mint into the cocktail (muddle also means to mix up-using a crushing action- some ingredient into a drink) both essentially mean mixed-up and disorganised

Guevara was appointed Minister of Economy and he did that job poorly to say it kindly. Hence the line "you muddled your economy like mint in a mojito. I agree the win goes to Fawkes in part because I think his lines were slightly better, but I also think part of a rap battle is boosting one's bars while dissing the opponent's. Guevara didn't have any comeback for comparing torture to his rap, or "this rhyme skills are not evenly distributed".
