- This algebra 2 video tutorial focuses on solving compound inequalities with fractions. It shows you how to graph the solution on a number line and how to .resent the answer using interval notation. You should use brackets for closed circles and parentheses for open circles and infinity. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems. Compound Inequalities contain and or expressions.

Yo idk if ur still posting or not but you saved me from giving up and just quitting it completely, you taught me perfectly bro thank you so much :)
JG said thank you 🙏🏾
I love how clear and concise your videos are, but my college does not use open or closed circles... Every video on TH-cam uses circles.
How does your school not use open and close circles? It's how it's supposed to be done tho, education bureau all over the world grades it
your college is doing math wrong
How do you produce so many videos in such a short amount of time? Every video is very detailed and shows a very strong understanding of the concept. I noticed that your oldest video is about 2 years old and since then you have produced over 1500 videos. this averages about 2 videos per day. Do you do this for fun? It seems to me that producing this many videos at such a rapid pace is financially unsustainable and you'll eventually tire yourself out.
I am intrigued by the quantities of videos produced and would like to know your reason behind it and how you are able to support this "hobby'.

TH-cam does pay you, you know? But I’m guessing he’s doing it because he either likes it or he just wants to help people out.
This really helped me on my math homework because it had a fraction and I didn't understand how to do it
The best channel on youtube related to the math and physics. Can you make a video about combinatorics and probability
At 4:59, shouldn't the number one on the number line with a close circle be a negative because its on the left side?
It absolutely should
@@KevinGgames yeah but if its not -1 then how come the 0 is after it? plus -1 wasnt even in the answer of the inequality, it doesnt make sense that the -1 is a closed circle onwards when it isnt even in the inequality, im sure it was a mistake from their side fr
I love this channel❤️

Your number line is wrong at 5:25 -- X doesn't pass through 0

@@Astrolaria_ on the number line he drew in the video, he put 1 before 0 instead of after it, which makes the number line incorrect...
@@ninacilliers3225 thanks 👍
Your videos are always the best!!
On your second problem, why is your positive 1 over in the negative side of 0 in your graph?
yeah i didn't get that part type shii
Thanks teacher from the past from teaching me more than my teacher in class ✨
Hello, I am a fan of your videos, I just wanted to point out that around 4:44 it says the number one and positive, but on the number line it shows positive 1 before the zero.
These are helping so much again thank you.
What's the difference between (And) and (OR)
(And) for multiplication (Or) for addition.

Hi The Teacher, I'm Armando Orona, You Failure at 4:42, to 5:28 could you please review and edit your video, because I been learning a lot from your Math videos videos
3:56 Let's say 4x was -4x. Then you would have to divide by negative 4. Would the signs change in this case too?
There is a small mistake at 4:25 when he draws the number line. He accidentally puts the 1 in front of the 0 as if it is -1. He should have put it to the right of the zero, where +1 lies.
But I still love your channel and thank you for helping me out
When do you know to include union in the answer? I have problems where there are no (or).
Wasn't there a mistake in the 2nd inequality?🤔🤔at the graphing.
On the second equation you put the positive one on the left of 0 which is wrong
yepp that is definitely wrong...
I noticed it.. so I agreed😊
Relax guys he is helping you in your “ Mathy “ life ,, and a simple mistake caused you to say all of these stupid things…. Shame on you guys 😞😞
@@yousifmusician4361 he did not help us in the correct way, and they just pointed out a mistake. Nothing very wrong
Thank you sooooo much finnally a video that i understood
This shows -1 to 5 on the graph but we know what you mean. Thank you for your excellent teaching
First, let me say that you are absolutely one of the best when it comes to explaining math. However, in this video, the second problem you demonstrated the graph is incorrect. You placed (1) to the left of zero, without a negative sign. But when you provided interval notation, the result was listed correctly; [1,5). There aren't any negative values or anything to the left of zero. Everything else is correct.
Hello, at minute 1:35 on the video, you say to change the direction of the inequality when multiplying or dividing by a negative. Does the same rule apply if the numerator is -4 and the denominator is 2?
No it only applies when the divisor is negative.
@@ros3g0ld Thank you.
Cuh u just saved my life
Thanks, i was stuck on a problem with a fraction on it! Now I won't have to turn it in incomplete!
I'm glad I can help
@@TheOrganicChemistryTutor OMG YOU REPLIED LOOOL
@@TheOrganicChemistryTutor The legend himself replied.
Thanks this was really helpful
Thank you!
I know the rule is when multiplying or diving in an inequality you change it but why is that the case?
Pretty sure its because when you flip the sign of something, its properties(and its relationships with the other side) flip. So here are some examples.
5 > 2
However, flipping 5 gives us this
-5 < 2

Thank you so much! No words to thank you for this kind favour!!

this was very helpful thank you
thanks so much TwT
We had a problem like this on homework, and lets just say, I don't think our teacher went over it-
So, really, thank you!
second example why are we subtracting everything by 3?
bro 4:59 you graphed incorrectly
My problems have paragraphs and numbers and I have to solve and I don’t know what to do
Suppose the following are test scores you’ve earned throughout the semester in you math courses
88,95,72,99,67
You have one more test to go and you want at least score 85% for the courses (assuming your grades is based on your tests alone )
What score do you have to get to receive at least an 85%? Enter the numeric value in the blank only
Great job
thanks for the clarification
I'm using Khan academy's platforms but I got to be here to watch all the videos in this channel for more clarity so thanks a lot 😊
porque queda infinito
I'm having trouble placing the correct infinity signs and its messing me up
5:53 that OR was so late 😐 I even waited for it before I paused
my teacher sucks at teaching this, tell him i dont understand and kept saying the same thing over and over again. IF I DONT UNDERSTAND THE FIRST TIME WHY WOULD I UNDERSTAND THE 300TH TIME.
Even this day thank you men

Can you please solve -2 + x < 3x < 4 + x
Thanks! This helped
4:27 i dont got it??please inform me anybody who understand it
what about 2x-3
Am I the only one that thought Mark Wahlberg was teaching algebra?
but dont you flip the signs when you divide?
ouch only if you divide by a negative number

Anyone else confused why we subtract five
Cuz w these types of equations u wanna get rid of anything disrupting the x, which technically 5 is because it’s before the less than sign
What in the actual duck does infinity mean

Where did 5 came from?😭😭
The 5 in the equation
bruh doesn't even explain what happens when there is 2 open circles :|
