So that was the trick. I had to set up reminders with the button and type it in rather than have Siri do it for me. Crazy. It's been months since it just stopped pushing notifications and this finally fixed it. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much! I think it might have been that I had only put Reminders in using Siri and therefore hadn't been asked to approve notifications. This has made me so happy; thank you.

Sir, please also publish this with a title “reminders app not reminders me” or “reminders notifications not working”
Your video doesn’t come up but it does fix the issue from that perspective! And many people don’t realize to look in notifications setting for indicators of this issue.
