Love the Wolves, super high damage, great for chitin gathering, excellent speed when spam jumping, pack boost, easy tames

Glad you liked it. The Thyla’s new bleed makes it even more powerful than the Direwolf lmao. The Ark wiki should say what its bleed is similar to.

I'll definitely do it one day, but probably when I have more subscribers, because not many newcomers would watch it since a lot of other TH-camrs have already done it.
@@ZedFiles Yeah, but those other TH-camrs don't do all of their analysis videos as informatively as your videos do. And that's what I like about this channel. It's why I subscribed.
I plan making all of the creature comparing videos that have already been done, I'll probably start doing those after Genesis.

Now the thyla does bleeding damage as well so thyla is better at damage now and is superior in that class now too

I can give my opnion: if you want a creature to all your tribe use for combat -wolves
If you want be a solo hunter use - thylacoleo because of the wolf pack i.a in the caves is not good but the thylacoleo can make his more easily because his is more stronger physcally and have a saddle to give some armour and a pounce and can climb for you in the mountains

My first time playing Ark I was determined to play without looking anything up online. I just wanted to explore and discover on my own.
I ended up breeding thylacoleos to absurd levels, only to teleport to my first boss fight and find that all of my dinos were not there with me. I had no idea they weren't allowed in the boss arenas.
Needless to say, that was MONTHS of time wasted and I was so pissed off I shut off the game, uninstalled it, and didn't even think about playing again for over 2 years.
I'm still pissed about it. If there is one thing I hate more than anything about modern video games, it is arbitrary, pointless, rules.
Man you speak with so little enthusiasm and slow that i need to watch yours videos double the speed so i dont fall asleep. Beside that nice videos.

I mean I play on mobile and on mobile you can equip dire wolfs with any kind of helmet scuba goggles, flak helmet, riot helmets, ANY KIND.

Sadly you didnt mention the thylas best feature it deals a stacking 5%bleed effect when it bites which means it can and will kill creatures with high health really really fast

Compare stegosaurus with allo or with dire bear or trike i think
I personally think the wolf is much harder to tame cuz they're usually in packs so thr only way for me to get one is to grab it with an Argentavis

All Wyverns can breeding but zombie Wyverns not a breeding only crystal wyverns and normal Wyverns because have tlc 3 and can breeding insects with bats
For a direwolf natural ypgrade 35 is 186
How do you do the battle arena-?
I use the "EventMap" modded map for the arena, and then unclaim one creature and make the other one attack it. Or use the 'playersonly' command to freeze the game, put both creatures on aggressive, unclaim one, and then use the command 'playersonly' command again to unfreeze them.

i took thyla into strong cave with others handled it self well it would of survived if my stupid baryonic did not agro a bunch of wolfs when it had low health then baryoyc ran away back to my other dinos
This is my opinion btw I say dire wolves are better bc when I’m packs The pack leader gets a pack boost that buffs it’s stats
Good luck keeping all the dire wolves with you with ark al for unridden dinos lol, thats why i hate and will never use pack animals in ark again, one strong dino and thats it

Yeah it wasn't in the game at the time of making the video, it was added a few months later. Now the Thyla is even more OP 😂

Ark logic a lion and a wolf can kill a heavy triceratops
Thyla is smaller than a lion around the same size as a wolf

Yeah the Thyla bleed effect was added a few months after I made this comparison

I think they should change the bleed to an actual damage not % because it makes pumpin health useless only on allos or wild gigas i would accept it
A bit of a random question but do you know how fast a managarmrs ice breath attacks
For a fast attack like the Mangarmr’s, I would slow the game down by 10x, by using the “slomo 0.1” command, then counted how many bits of damage it does in 10 seconds. Then I would times that amount by 10 as the game was in slow motion by 10. This would give the attack speed in 10 seconds. You can divide that amount by 10 if finding the attack speed per second.

Sorry I can’t understand what you are trying to say, if you’re referring to the battles the Direwolf did have other wolves with it in the last battle, but they were still no match for the Thylas.

I don't think its bleed affects bosses, so it probably wouldn't be good. The Deinonychus is good because its bleed works on them.
You should’ve gave the wolves helmets for the fight bc they don’t have saddles that’s unfair

Thyla vs sabertooth pls
Sorry, I don't make Creature Comparison videos anymore since they took a lot of effort to make and I got bored of making them. The Sabertooth is a early game carnivore mount that is pretty easy to tame and is really good at harvesting hide, chitin and keratin. It's around Raptor-strength, so it's not as strong as the Direwolf or Thyla.
wolf is good for beginners theylacleo is good for mid game

Yeah the Thyla got bleed in a recent TLC, long after this video was made, and I was trying to cheat in the last fight to give the Direwolves more of a chance lmao, but they still lost anyway.
