Why aren't people 25ft away as they were told in the other stages of the wrecker games. Folks safety first before the guberment stepks in and bans the activity due to people being hard headed. Other than that great shots of the wreckers in operation. All of them are custom made which is garage creature ingenuity
There were several points of safety that gave me pause, at least one tow truck (that usually works on the flat) had no cage and then there were the people in the towed vehicles. I like Matt but his attitude towards safety will bite him one day.
I bet it's Merlin #1, then Matt #2. (Rory is probably the best all-'rounder especially for careful pulls). I dunno. It was fun watching them all. Eric in that old Chevy was something else, too. They were all great. Hard to pick a fave.
Matt commented a year+ ago that you needed to build a rock crawler for Lizzy. But instead you built your wrecker, etc. After everything Lizzy has contributed, its time to give back by following thru on building a rock crawler for Lizzy.
Matt's wrecker is truly badass ,and I've said it before but she's bad with the gas engine and I wouldn't change it now but if it ever blows I would definitely put a Cummins or a cat 🙀 in that puppy 🐶 then she would be awesome and unstoppable .( Rollin coal baby ) oh yeah .
I think I'm missing something with that diesel, all I see is someone who's going to kill someone showing off after burning up his tires. I could be wrong, I probably am, but it seems really dangerous.
If you watch more tracks of him it seems like is front end is open. So either it is open, or a locker isn't working. Which leads to him bumping a lot of time to get somewhere. Also as the previous reply. He was a pro his wife got sick and he sold everything.
@@donakahorse What seems reckless is the bystanders choosing to be at a drop off of a vehicle being flat towed (and the cars were gutted, No engine or transmission Just axles if you watch matt's videos of them getting setup for this). No different than rally car races and people being on the edge of the road in a corner. EDIT: if you watch that timestamp you clipped, the rope was slacked as soon as the car broke over the edge on the descent. So the car was moving faster than the truck without him adding any force other than getting over the edge. It didn't go back under tension until he was out of the turn. By that time the car was already up the other side and near the bystanders. EDIT 2: "Off Road Wrecker Games Day 2" on Krawler kingdom channel (29:50). There's a second view of this from the top. The car was moving under gravity when it went over the edge. EDIT 3: another angle "Diesel can't what? Merlin gets it done at the Chute"
@@AbsolutionArmament actually, if you watch the bit right after the time I mentioned, the people the tow car would have hit without that rock protrusion weren't anywhere near the line the tow truck was taking. He yanked that car so hard that it was completely out of control. whatever though, we're seeing it from different perspectives I guess. I'm not a fan boy of any of them, it was a fun event to watch. I respect the guy for giving up everything for his wife, I respect him for building a new life in what he loves. I just thought jerking the tow car like that was dangerous, and I still do. Nobody got hurt, that's what's important

I like that turbo diesel! Compared to Matt's wrecker I like Matt's custom format but diesel is just bad ass
