Chris has a great way of handling cats and Richie was so friendly and loving. Why his first owners would abandon him is beyond me. They could have taken him to a shelter at least. He is such a good boy, I'm glad he has a loving family now! Him and Kiley napping on the boat together is just the cutest thing!

my aunt abandoned her cat in her apartment when she moved out. she asked my mom to give her one of the kittens the other cat gave birth to recently.
when she moved my mom asked where the cat was...she ended up rushing back to the place (it was abandoned) and rescuing the poor thing. it was dying of thirst and had no food or water left out.
my cousins neighbor moved and left their cat behind. she ended up taking her in.
most people are walking around with the part of their brain that makes empathy completely deviod
There seems to be a pervasive "it's just a CAT" mentality coupled with an erroneous belief that any cat will be fine if left outside. It's pretty horrible. Same thing where you see a ton of people freely commenting how much they hate cats but you'd get gasps of total horror if you said you hated dogs.

@@frankprior9376 - You have posted that "the cat needs a walk outside everyday" several times. Walking a cat outdoors is not necessary for cats to be healthy.
1) Many cats do NOT adjust to a harness and leash
2) Many cats that do accept a harness and leash refuse to "take a walk"
3) Cats can do their business in a litter box
4) Cats get exercise from playing
5) Cats determine how much they want to exercise and when, not their humans

When the video first started, I was so upset another family left a family member behind. Halfway through, I started bawling. That cat was SUPPOSED to be with that girl! Life does work out when you get past anger and find beauty

How do people leave behind their pets is beyond me, glad he found a real good human to love and be loved
My daughter rescued/adopted a cat just like him!! Percy was found by a friend who took him to a shelter before she knew my daughter wanted him. Upon Percy’s first visit to the vet, we learned he, like Richey, is a Flame Point Siamese!! They are rare, mostly male, very, very friendly and smart! They can cost in the thousands. Richey is a true find for this loving family just like our Percy🧡🤍💙
They are a truly special breed😽

I supported a stray cat. It was very rewarding. Although I felt his home was the neighborhood. He never fully stayed at my house, but was always welcome for support. I got rid of his mange, flea treated him and fed him during my stay in the neighborhood. I miss him dearly. Meow Meow I called him. He would always come from wherever he was when I called that.
Always nice to see Chris and what an amazing job he does rescuing cats of all sizes and matching them up to the purrfect homes!

I knew it was Cat Man Chris from the way he talked to the cat, before even seeing him! I’ve followed his career from Big Cat Rescue, then Cole and Marmalade (RIP Cole), and now with his new cats. Glad to see him out there rescuing and bringing joy to families who adopt these cats like Richie.
