I played this a while back and before they added some of this new stuff my starter was pretty powerful but getting the others leveled up was a grind (didn’t buy anything) and eventually when I started facing the evil team I was getting wrecked all the time and the electric cat the sister has is also very powerful this is kinda making me want to play again. The starters can evolve into any type based on their affinity you gain more affinity the more you use a move and each creo also learn different abilities but you have to equip them.
I thought it was just Dior you could get early, in the forest. The dex (or whatever it's called) says the dog anyway is in the bottom right corner of the map
Nope, only Dior. Furen and Rebas, you can get them later on at Creo Park. You can also just buy them from Carbon Valley but it's too expensive, so yeah.

The stars meaning Creo stars tell you how good your Creo are. If your Creo have 1 star,but are a high level, you have probably wasted your time. The more stars, the better, and, based on how high the stars are when you do Creo summons, It is sometimes worthwhile to do it, as the stars can be 7 or higher.
Not sure if its still in the game but there was an item you could buy for 100 of the red currency called the Sonic ward that removes all random encounters and just has overworld visible ones be what you will have to fight. I do recommend getting that before you reach any caves as the encounter rate in this is pretty bad otherwise especially in later areas.
You used to be able to get it through one of the menus where the items you can buy were that you showed in the video but maybe scroll down in one of those and see if its still in the game

Never choose deor as starter because it's evolution is not even can say good as it has no perfect set moves Only evolution of deor is best is Nulifer which is dark type but you will only get this evolution after a lot time pass. And If you want to fast level up your creo then try rebas with move rampage and duck type water creo with poison move to beat first black ghost type creo in cave. This cave location is when you get your first creo not go to home side instead go to opposite straight side you will get this cave If you like then tap like

Oh yeah, I finished this game like 2 years ago. Overall, I'd say it's a 6, maybe 7 out of 10. It's not a bad game, but it could definitely use improvement. Also, the story was mediocre.

Little tip about this game: there isn’t a level cap, so you can make your Creo as strong as you need without worry of them disobeying you. =)
And unlike Pokémon, you can actually run from trainer/evoker battles if you are not ready for them.
