I use to catch the original DM Yugioh every Saturday morning on 4kids tv but not consistently. However I have precious memories of running home from school every week day since first grade just to catch the newest episode of GX on Cartoon Network. I remember catching the very first episode at 4:30 and tried my best not to miss a new episode since, sometimes I would be late but only missed the intro as I ran home from the bus stop. GX and 5DS are tied as my #1 favorites. 4yrs after I saw the first episode of GX I won a Flame Wingman ultimate rare card during a recess tournament organized by all the yugioh kids at my school. We had one every week and the loser of a duel had to give the winner a rare card from their deck, funny how we all thought that was a real rule because of battle city 😂
i’m so glad i chose to watch this instead of starting the actual series. bc i’m only 75% through the season 1 video & we’re already at episode 42. absolutely no way in hell am i watching 50 episode seasons at my old age (30). lmfao it’s a miracle i was able to watch all of the episodes from the original series as a kid
This was tackling my first exposure to Yu-Gi-Oh I mean I did see the little bit of the original series but GX was more familiar to me than anything else
This is how I started my Yu-Gi-Oh journey back in 2018. Been a fan ever since. And I will argue that it's better than Pokemon TCG.

Hahaha! Yu-Gi-Oh! GX I'll always have a soft spot for this series but the amount of filler within Season 1 and especially Season 2 is just mind blowing. That's funny is when this series gets emotional I think it's one of the best series, especially Season 4 but it has moments of that throughout it's entire run. My favourite episode of Season 1 though is Crowler Vs Chumley, it was just so cool to see our bro Chumley who didn't do much to start finally get in a position where he could chase his dreams.

Actually Jaden was forced to attack Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder because of his effect. He is the only available target when in defence position. Thats why he couldnt go for Raviel.

I think the narrator is german. Many of the pronounciations are close to german words. Also the video footage is from Pokito(basically the german version of the Toonami block )
