I think most people in their hearts know and believe "Black Sabbath" is their favorite album they are just afraid to admit it. (For whatever reason) So props for having the balls to say it.
Fantastic video man, I hope it blows up soon because it's the best Sabbath album review I've seen by far. And I agree, Black Sabbath is their best album dude
My top ten 1. Sabbath bloody sabbath 2. Volume 4 3. Black Sabbath 4. Master of Reality 5. Sabotage 6. Paranoid 7. Headless cross 8. Mob rules 9. Technical Ecstasy 10. Born again
I love to see young people enjoying the greatest metal band ever. I love ALL eras of Sabbath but I think the Tony Martin era is fast becoming my favourite next to Ozzy. I have seen them live with every singer (except Gelnn Hughes of course, Ray Gillan did the tour)
Thank you for watching! I agree 100% to this day Sabbath are my favourite metal band. There's a ton of other metal bands that are fantastic, but sabbath will always remain my #1. I definitely need more time with the Tony martin era, so who knows maybe in a few years from now they might be higher up on the list. Ray Gillen was a fantastic singer, glad you mentioned him!
To be honest everything from #10 down to #1 is just a preference thing which is better than the other... What I mean by that is either album is occasionally the number one you want to listen to, completely dependent on your current mood on any day. Lord of This World is my favorite song on Master of Reality. Those lyrics! Those sludgy heavy doomy riffs! The progressiveness of it! The doomy riffs with Ozzy's high pitched vocals. I think Lord of This World is the epitome of the entire Black Sabbath sound.
Never Say Die was not as bad as many say.. It was recorded in Toronto so I love that. Btw, "Hand that Rocks the Cradle" from Cross Purposes is one of my favourite Sabbath songs.
I think Never say Die was kinda weak, I love Air Dance, Never Say Die and Shock Wave but the rest is not that great. Cross Purposes is a badass album criminally underated
I agree, its actually an album that I come back to more than I thought I would after first hearing it. Hand that Rocks the Cradle is a great song, really emotional
I haven't heard "13" (bits and Pieces of it) and "the Devil you know" (one Song) yet. I know, I should do that soon. as for the Rest: 18. Forbidden 17. Seventh Star 16. Technical Ecstasy 15. The Eternal Idol 14. Cross Purposes 13. Born Again 12. Tyr 11. Never Say Die 10. Dehumanizer 9. Headless Cross 8. Vol. 4 7. Black Sabbath 6. Sabotage 5. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 4. Mob Rules 3. Paranoid 2. Heaven And Hell 1. Master Of Reality
This guy doing the devil horns is kinda like Richard Simmons doing the devil horns. This guy has no business doing a Black Sabbath countdown. He's more of a Depeche Mode/Taylor Swift/Harry Styles kinda guy
You should do a Led Zeppelin album ranking video if you haven't already. These are the Black Sabbath albums I own: Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sabotage, Heaven and Hell, and Mob Rules. This is how I would rank the ones I've listened to. 1. Paranoid (I know it's overplayed but this is the album that opened my world to heavier music so huge nostalgia points) 2. Master of Reality 3. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 4. Heaven and Hell 5. Sabotage 6. Mob Rules 7. Black Sabbath I haven't really checked out the rest of their discography. Tony Iommi is definitely a riff master no doubt about that.
Thanks for watching man! I will definitely do a zeppelin ranking one day as they are my all time favourite band. Awesome list by the way! Obviously we disagree about the debut album but that's the whole idea, I love seeing different opinions. You gotta hear volume 4 its a fuckin masterpiece
Good call bringing in the Heaven & Hell "The Devil You Know" album into this list, because obviously it is basically Black Sabbath, despite them not being able to call them that due to contractual reasons at the time. Great list!! Great wise words about 13 man! I'm not as nice as you though, and will say I'd rather listen to Ozzy with Sabbath farting into the microphone as long as it's new songs with Ozzy MK Sabbath, than listen to TYR, Headless Cross or Possession with Tony Martin MK Sabbath!!! That's just me! The Eternal Idol I do appreciate though, but that is because that album has the vocal stylings of Ray Gillen and not Tony Martin!! ;-)
It’s good but The debut is overrated I feel, sorry. They have so many better albums I feel. I’d have 13 last, it’s so boring then TYR. Forbidden isn’t even that bad. I don’t like Dehumanizer as much as you either. Vol 4 is my favourite
Sabotage, Born Again (original and the unmixed/ demo) and Paranoid/ their ‘92 album with dio are the best. Only a few good songs off Debut and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
For me those first 6 Sabbath albums are a trip! I like all eras but those first 6 are always my go to's. Trippy, heavy and progressive.
I absolutely agree, the first 6 is one of if not the best runs in metal history
I think most people in their hearts know and believe "Black Sabbath" is their favorite album they are just afraid to admit it. (For whatever reason) So props for having the balls to say it.
lol thanks man!! I found it hilarious how you worded that. Made my day
Not even in my top 6
Not at all. I love the DIO era
You deserve many more views. Heaven and Hell is not only one of the best Sabbath albums, it's one of the best in all of metal. Enjoyed. 🤘🏻😛🤘🏻
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Heaven and hell is a fuckin master stroke indeed

I love to see young people enjoying the greatest metal band ever. I love ALL eras of Sabbath but I think the Tony Martin era is fast becoming my favourite next to Ozzy. I have seen them live with every singer (except Gelnn Hughes of course, Ray Gillan did the tour)

Bit harsh
I hate 13 with every part in me.
I love Master of reality with every part in me
Vol. IV is their best.
You should do a Led Zeppelin album ranking video if you haven't already.

Master of reality #1 always for me.
That’s my number one as well

Born Again #1
So, what part of Alabama are you from? Haha. Love the Midwest accent.
lool! I'm Canadian born and raised and my family is from Italy, believe it or not I've never even been to the states
Yes dehumanizer 🤯
Fuck ya!
master of reality the best
Hell ya, cant argue with that. I didn't mention it in the video but even Solitude is a fantastic song. Love the flute and how un-Ozzy, Ozzy sounds lol
It’s good but The debut is overrated I feel, sorry. They have so many better albums I feel. I’d have 13 last, it’s so boring then TYR. Forbidden isn’t even that bad. I don’t like Dehumanizer as much as you either.
Vol 4 is my favourite
I definitely understand where your coming from. I'm a die hard blues rock fan so that side of sabbaths debut really appeals to me.
Its not metal. Its heavy rock. Even iommi doesnt understand why its called metal.
black sabbath black sabbath is the no1 album all time.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is the best
cant go wrong with sabbath bloody sabbath
What a chatterbox you are!!!
Headless Cross #1. you made many mistakes here.
Forbidden is not worst. Never Say Die, Technical Ecstasy and 13 are all worse than Forbidden.
Sabotage, Born Again (original and the unmixed/ demo) and Paranoid/ their ‘92 album with dio are the best. Only a few good songs off Debut and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
