what about being able to skip the MCAT? I feel like thats the biggest benefit of a BS/MD. Because what if you cant even get into med school? Then you're a lot more screwed than a BS MD student.
As a Northwestern student, I have experienced a fair share of HPME kids... I'm sure they worked extremely hard in high school to get here, and most of them are indeed intelligent, but seeing them slack off at every class while we are working our butts off just to get an A- (in most cases!) was pretty infuriating.
hey man love ur vids they provide info which literally no other channel provides. can u make a video on ranking colleges based on their programs for uncommon majors like aerospace engineering ect or even for popular majors cause i feel that usnews is not the most reliable source for this . pls correct me if i am wrong . and pls do more collabs with pratik you both are THE GOATS hats off to both of u
Makes sense, their med schools are better ranked, and undergrad is not all that important after you graduate if you're becoming a physician. I'd note tho that Brown's Warren Alpert still sends a lot of graduates to great residencies (read: MGH, JHU, Stanford...)
Make a video full process on how to get into colleges for undergrad for engineering like *mit usa* , harward , etc Full process from *syllabus* to *preparation* of their entrance How to give sat or their respective entrance test from *India* Pros and cons *scholarship* please
A small request while your video made me interested in research and doctor stuff and makes me(outside of the videos, i started to read a little bits of research papers) learn about those. I originally had the goal to became a software engineer now i am confuse what to do. And while i am getting super excited to learn about biology or maybe learn more about how to do research and learn from it as well but i want to learn or dig deeper into the engineering side as well could you make some videos of explaining about that or give me some suggestions to, were can i dig more deeper to learn about software engineering side
you can certainly do computer science research or even applied research where you use computer science to answer questions in biology. I have plenty of friends that did computer science research or applied computer science research in high school, and are now pursuing software engineering. As such don’t think that just because you did research you have to become a doctor or do some health related field! Research is very broad and there are tons of fields you can get interested in :)
Hello Jain! I want to know if I could go into a top college knowing that I want to study computer science as a 15 yrs Algerian first grade high school student!! And Could you recommend for me some advices please... Thanks!
Hey Rishab Jain, big fan. So I am currently in middle school currently and have a 4.0 in my 3 high school classes (Algebra 2, Spanish 1, and Biology). I have the option to go for IB courses, IB diploma, and the Running start program. I was wondering if you could make a video about comparing those 3 pathways and maybe the AP path as well. I was just wondering which would look the best on college apps and which would help me succeed. Thanks!
I'm sorry to let you know, but Spanish 1 isn't a high school class, and is a class that all 8th graders are requird to take under the name of Spanish C. It has the same coursework and difficulty as normal 8th Grade Spanish. However, I'm not saying this to discredit you. Take Honors Spanish 2 Next Year if you really want to be ahead in Spanish. Also, I reccomend going for the IB Diploma, as receiving one showcases that you have certain qualities (IB Learner Profile Traits) to colleges. These traits are desirable in a person. Also, IB classes, which are required to recieve an IB Diploma, will show colelges that you are college ready and that you can easily take college level classes which you have before.

Any advice for students with ADHD who are as ambitious as you are? It's horrendously difficult.
Just don’t have ADHD
meditate daily bcs it really helps with focus
What do you need help with specifically? Time management? Attention span?
Improve your discipline. Don’t use it as an excuse. Get as much help as you can.
incoming UPitt BS/MD student here! nice to hear the name drop bc it's so overlooked
Hi- I’m in kindergarten. Do you have any advice as to what I can do now to gain a little edge preparing for medical school applications in 15 years?

Isn't Preaching P your old friend from Portland?
Preaching P makes my head scratch some times.
there’s a ton of multi-layered comedic rhetorical devices in his videos, makes me wonder if he’s secretly an english major lol

I would say UPitt and Case Western have the top. I would also say REMS and then PLME after that.
